"It is unfortunate that some ‘Sufis’ of the present era have only inherited the Libaas (clothes) of their predecessors and not their Sifaat (characters). It seems as if they have buried the ‘Sifaat’ (characters) of their predecessors with them in their graves. Tasawwuf (Sufism) is not about your clothes but the state of your heart. The shining clothes mean nothing if the heart is rusty.”
“Afsos Ki Baat Hai Ke Aajke Kuch “Sufiya” Ne Apne Aslaaf Se Wirasat Main Libaas (Kapdon) Toh Haasil Kar Liya Lekin Unki Sifaat (Kirdaar) Ko Qabr Main Unke Saath Hi Dafan Kar Diya. Tasawwuf Tumhare Libaas Ka Naam Nahin Balke Tumhare Dil Ke Haal Ka Naam Hai. Chamakdaar Libaas Ki Koi Haisiyat Nahin Agar Dil Main Zang Laga Hai.”
