For those who are new to this page, we are Avni and Sohil. We both came to France in 2017 for our masters degree.
After completing our respective degrees in 2019 I got a job in Paris whereas Sohil got a job in Dubai and thereafter began our story of long distance…..
We got married in 2020 and in the summer of 2021 we decided to be together in Dubai so I left Paris….
But future had something else planned for us. Later in 2021 Sohil got a job offer in Germany while sitting in Dubai and then we decided to move back….
In Feb 2022, we began our 2nd innings in Europe. While Sohil had a job already, I was still without a job….
The moment we came to Germany, we took German SIM cards and updated my contact details on my resume immediately. Trust me this is a game changer. I started getting a lot of interview calls….
It was just the beginning of my employment search journey. I applied to many job applications, modified my resume according to each job description I was applying for, went through a lot of interview videos on YouTube and what not……
The journey wasn’t very smooth but with consistency I was able to land my dream job…
As we understand the struggle of finding a new job, a new apartment and what not in a new country, that’s why we dedicate this page for such information…..
We are going to share our personal experiences with you all so that if you are on the same path as us, you may learn from our mistakes and make informed decisions for yourself…..
We are also passionate travelers so you will also be seeing a lot of travel videos and recommendations on this page……
We hope that the content we put out helps you in any manner possible and that’s the only intention we work towards for……

Today, I had an incredible opportunity to encounter a remarkable group of adventurers….
They were embarking on a thrilling journey from Austria to Turkey, and what made their expedition even more extraordinary was the fact that they were undertaking this grand adventure on bicycles…. Witnessing their passion for travel ignited a spark of inspiration within me, reminding me of my own love for exploring the world……
It was a truly an uplifting experience that left me in awe of the human spirit and the boundless possibilities that lie ahead in our travels…..

Rüdesheim is a place just out of a fairy tale….The lush green vineyards along the Rhine river are a perfect place for a weekend getaway from Frankfurt or just a day trip is also fine….
The activities you can do there includes taking a cable car to the top overseeing the beautiful vineyards and then you can hike for around 3 kms into the wild and then come down again via an open cable car and finally taking a cruise boat to return to the starting point…..

I discovered the sweetest thing out there which I had no idea existed before….
So we were at wanting to have some fries. As usual, we made an order and we’re waiting to pick up our order as it was self-service.
The strange thing was there was no number mentioned on our bills and we were just wondering how would we know when our order is ready…Then I finally asked someone in the queue this question and she told me the most beautiful thing: they don’t give any order a number instead they give each order a name (see pic 2), I mean how sweet is that 😇
This actually made me very happy and decided to post this to show my appreciation to
thank you for such a nice gesture and btw your fries are really amazing 🤩 🤤😋

The city has a charm of its own so calm, so peaceful yet so lively…

Day 2 in London:
We booked two attractions for Day 2, Madame Tussaud’s and London Eye. The good thing is as you increase the number of attractions the price per attraction decreases and you have the full flexibility of doing these attractions at any time. You don’t have to do them all in a single day only. We also did London eye the following day…You can book the tickets online on this website:

Here you will see the option of selecting multiple attractions as well so you can choose accordingly…..Please make sure that you select the date and time for each attraction as well….

Me in the Harry Potter world….
For everyone in my generation Harry Potter was nothing less than a fantasy world. A world where we all wanted to be. Hogwarts was the school where we all wanted to go. Ron, Harry and Hermoine were people we wanted to be friends with and of course Quidditch was the sport that we all wanted to play…
Thanks to that I was able to live this childhood dream,not just mine but of an entire generation of the 90s kids all over the world….
So if you are visiting London and if you are a Harry Potter fan (I mean who isn’t 🤓) then you must make this a part of your itinerary…..
Trust me, it is indeed a magical experience….✨

Coming to London is very special. This is one place I actually thought of coming for so many times but somehow it never turned into reality.
And now when I am here on vacation it all feels so surreal….
Many things are planned and I will share everything with you guys right from applying for UK visa to booking flights, tourist attractions and more……

The most beautiful thing I have seen till date…..
📍Mont Saint Michel, France
It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is that for a reason…
I have never seen anything like this and it is just not an abbey but a very cute, small town inside where you have plenty of options to eat, drink and shop….
It is almost 3-4 hrs drive from Paris and if you are planning to visit Paris you must come include this…. I cannot stress enough on how beautiful this place is…….

Grateful is the word for all I have seen so far and all I will see in future….
Lake Eibsee is truly one of the most serene and calm lakes that I have seen in Europe so far….
Located in the Bavarian region of Germany not very far from the dazzling city of Munich it can be a perfect way to spend your weekend or a day trip from Munich….
Also for Zugspitze, the top of Germany, the cable car starts from here so you can plan for both the things……
PS: We also saw the Neuschwanstein Castle on the same day but we didn’t cover Zugspitze
