Dormaa traditional council to celebrate Kwafie Festival and 25years anniversary of the enstoolment of Nana Agyemang Badu II
Chiefs and Elders of the Dormaa Traditional Council have unveiled plans for the Celebration of this year's Kwafie Festival and the 25th Enstoolment anniversary of the King of Dormaa Traditional Council, Osagyego Oseadeyo Dr. Agyemang Badu II.
Speaking at the Press conference at Abanpredase Palace, the Ankobiahene of the Dormaa traditional council who doubles as the Chief of Amasu and also the Chairman of the Festival and the Anniversary planning committee, Barima Dei K**i Gyabaa II explained that plans are far advanced for the Celebration of this year's Kwafie Festival which is the 4th Edition since the enstoolment of Osagyego Oseadeyo Dr Agyemang Badu II.
He therefore explained the concept and history Behind the Kwafie Festival
Barima Dei K**i Gyabaa II noted that the ceremony shall commence on the 9th of December to the 22nd of December 2024 with the Theme: Our Future Existence which is geared towards the support of Dormaahene's Clean the City Campaign to enhance a clean and healthier environment for a better living.

Barima Dei K**i Gyabaa II therefore urged Landlords and landladies who have their buildings on the roadside to start giving them new paintings to correlate with the motive behind the Kwafie Festival stressing that Nananom are working tirelessly to ensure the acquisition of paints to support the painting processes.
He again urged Nananom and the inhabitants of Dormaa Ahenkro and its surrounding communities to maintain a hygienic environment to meet the ideas and purpose of Dormaahene in eradicating a filthy environment denoting that the grand durbar of the anniversary and the festival shall be held at Nana Agyemang Badu II sports Stadium hence people of Dormaa and its communities must contribute their quota towards the program to make it big and successful.
