Social Currency’s ‘Out da Mud’
Last Saturday, Social Currency Enterprises hosted their first ever artist showcase in Salisbury, NC. I have been on the road alongside Charlotte national brand Unfair Apparel Co and let me tell you it has been an experience unlike any other. After working alongside with artists like Lil Boosie, K Camp, Young Dolph and many other major artists through this No Stress Fest, Parking Lot Concept Tour, I can say not only am I blessed but lucky, right moment, right time.
Charlotte is located in North Carolina, with around 1,2 million people and while is home to huge artists like Super Star DaBaby, there is still a lot of undiscovered (and discovered) artists that represent the “four”, North Carolina and Carolinas per se. The love for the city inspires us all, but some will always be more motivated than others, that motivation drives me to report on the people that are equally or more motivated, to shine a light and to give a platform for the people who are really trying.
‘Out da mud’ had a massive line up this weekend showcasing “The Four’s “native talent and they definitely showed up.{Click Here for Recap}. With some of the biggest local names added to their roster such as Rich Dunk, Sauxe Paxk, 10 cell phones, Lil Richye and all the Social Currency talents also said present, not only rappers but podcasts and other media outlets for interviews were supporting the company’s first “post-covid” event.
The 10th was a huge night not only for SC Enterprises, Hot Boy Lil Shaq was added to the extended family, can you say celebration? Now the “outside” artist is part of the “biggest label coming out of Charlotte, integrating with other rappers like Little John4k, Tianis Rose and Zay the Real Goat it’s safe to say their on to a really good place, and better than anything representing the Queen City.
