We often associate yoga with tight expensive clothes and our lack of flexibility but our latest guest, Kaitie Miyashiro-Carvalho, assures us that there's more to it! Kaitie started Asana and Aloha this year, with her husband Cody (hint: a future podcast guest!)! Their goal is to make yoga accessible for everyone. While studying yoga and meditation they found that many values were parallel to Hawaiian culture. Intertwining both worlds felt natural for them. We've taken every class since they've opened their virtual studio so we hope to see you there in the future!
We also try local favorite, Niusoftserve. This delicious, dairy-free dessert is coconut-based and comes in awesome flavors like Ube Cookies and Cream and Salted Caramel just to name a couple. Check them out immediately!
