Introducing Van Mary, one of Illumin's Pilot Artists: "She always wanted to be in a band, but things - family problems, toxic relationships, fear itself - kept getting in the way. Now, Emily Whetstone explores all of these things through Van Mary. Emily is joined by Emily Ng, Adrian Audain, and Taylor Wallace." GO FOLLOW THEM NOW!

Meet Egg Drop Soup - one of Illumin's pilot artists. Stay tuned for a new music video release coming later this month. "Unapologetically raw newcomers Egg Drop Soup are injecting some adrenaline (and much needed feminism) into the flaccid veins of today’s music scene. The punk trio’s massive sound has got the fire we all need to get us off our asses and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. The group formed in late 2017 after bass player and lead vocalist Samantha (Sammy/Sam) Westervelt came up with the name - a euphemism for menstruation - and was joined by guitarist Olivia Saperstein and drummer Greg Settino." LISTEN TO WOMXN - J. Graves is passionate dance-punk. Tense relationship rock, sanguine lyricism, guitar music, chord changes that sound like secret longing, a rhythm section that thuds, skitters, and melts over the determined voice of Jessa Graves. The heat of the cataclysm gives off a v***r known to galvanize meatspace into writhing, dancing heaps, creating rabid, loyal fans.

We are Illumin Records

This is not your mother’s record label, but it is founder Jessa Graves’. In the early 90s Annie Graves started Illumin Records to independently release her own music. Twenty-seven years later, her daughter Jessa Graves (front woman of J. Graves and entrepreneur) resurrects Illumin Records with a revitalized mission at the intersection of music, tech, and advocacy. Illumin redefines the role of record label for womxn and gnc led projects through education, transparency, empowerment, and new deal structures leveraging tokenization and blockchain technology.
