Rachael's recovery is going well. She will be in the cast until November 15th. If thing are still good the she will go into a boot. Still no weight bearing for a month.

Rachael has the best nurse to help her recover. Wonder is taking great care of her.

Rachael's surgery went good. She has been laying on the couch all day resting.

So tomorrow morning Rachael is going to have surgery on her right foot. She has been fighting pain in both her feet and ankles for over a year. She finally got diagnosed with Accessory Navicular Syndrome. We have tried a few different ways to treat it but nothing has worked. She can't run and play with her friends without laying in bed after crying because of the pain.
So tomorrow is the first day of a long road to getting her back to a hopefully pain free life.
She will have to use a knee scooter for about a month since she will be non weight bearing. Then she will be using crutches. As soon as the right one is healed we will do the left.
So please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

Ok.... so Rachael did go red last round but the kids she raced went way to fast for his age and got disqualified. So she's going on to round 2.

First time run coming up. Today is a much better day as weather goes. Virginia's there's supposed to get 2 times runs and then we'll go into eliminations.

So, after a long wait to start today, the Jr's only got 1 time run in. A couple oil downs, a medical issue (not Rachael) and a little rain ended the day. Tomorrow we will start a new race.
Tonight they dressed up and went trick or treating. I didn't get pictures, but Makayla did. So as soon as she gets them edited I'll post them.

Getting a late start today. It rained last night. Took a long time to get the track dried. Rachael's 1st time run won't be for awhile.

On our way to Madras for the last race of the year. It's their Halloween race. Kids get to dress up and trick or treat tomorrow.

It's team race day. We get one time run and they made that in to a run for the money. So you have to get closest to your dial to win.

The last race for Rachael tonight got canceled. It's a little disappointing since it was the 4 wide. She has the team race tomorrow.

We are off for another adventure in Jr. Dragracing. Headed to Vegas for the Division 7 Jr Finals.

We are getting ready to head to Vegas on Wednesday for the Division 7 Jr. finals.
Rachael and her teammates Hayden and Quenten qualified in June to be on team Redding.
I will be posting here and on our Fuerstenberg Family Racing page.
This is going to be such a great adventure.
