“The Diamond Horseshoe brand was my Step Grandpa’s iron. I inherited it when I was a freshman in highschool along with a few cows that my Dad gifted me. I sold all my cows when I went to college, but always kept up on the paperwork to keep the cow and horse iron 🐴 We run a modified version of my husband's Grandpa’s brand on our cows, so what better way to give the Diamond Horseshoe a job! A way for some history, and family memories to keep growing on.”

Rebekah started Turquoise Armadillo Co on her personal facebook and it took off!

“I had to get a website to keep up with orders and now I’m still hustling daily to keep up,” she said. “My spare bedroom went from a sewing machine and glue gun to being filled with backdrops, mannequins, shelves and shelves of inventory, heat presses, and sergers.” 🎀

“Challenging, rewarding, flexible.”

This is how Sarah Armstrong, owner of Sarah K Horse Sales & Training, describes her lifestyle.

“My day-to-day changes a lot. One day I might be in the arena training on the horses, taking them to track out on some country, or helping my husband work cows. I like to change it up on c**ts a lot to get them good experience,” she said. “I get bored doing the same things every day, so having the option to change it up works great with what I do.”

Sarah has been starting horses since she was 14 years old.

“I learned on some older horses, like 5-10 year olds that had never been handled in their lives, which was very challenging but really gave me confidence and a better feel for c**ts,” she said. “The first actual young, papered c**t I started was so easy compared, and it made me realize I could really do this for a living.”

Her favorite part of c**t-starting is the first ride.

“It is the most rewarding feeling taking a horse with a blank slate and making it into something enjoyable to ride and use,” she said. “My favorite thing is putting on a first ride. It's a wonderful feeling being up on top of one that was once untrusting and ignorant, and is now calm and using the thinking side of [the] brain. I also love to feel how they travel up in the saddle the first time.”

My messy sketches then get matched with yarn colors, and then hand woven on a large loom,” she said. Read more about Erin Rhea Show Pads on the Blog! ⭐️

“She Bucks is a code that says I can and I will, and it is ok to be different as long as it is my truth. The reason we have chosen to donate to families in domestic violence is because of the blessings I received and the wisdom that came from the many mistakes that I made,” she said. “It is because of the sacrifices my own children had to make the opportunities they should have had and missed because we did what we had to do. My hope is to offer solutions, emotional, and financial support to others that are willing to do the work to create a better life for themself. This is just as much for men as it is for women.”
