Good Morning Everyone,
I just wanted to give you all an update. Tatsu is home and feeling much better. He came home with a few shaved areas for the IV and other needles they needed for him. (Photos below).
He was successful in urinating after a few hours of hard tries. He has switched to prescribed medicated food for urinary tract which is quite pricey but it can't be helped. As well as given him broth food only. He is no longer allowed dry foods alone. Per instructions from the Vet, we have placed many water bowls/fountains throughout the places he mainly goes, which is the kitchen and our bedroom & bathroom.
He has been taken medicine for the past few days and will continue for a couple more days. We give him his meds every 8 hours. The medicines are Buprenorphine, Prazosin, & Gabapentin. It has helped him keep out of pain so he's doing well on that.
We still need to continue to monitor him and he will need to be seen next week to make sure the softball size crystal in his stomach is no longer there.
Thank you everyone who has wished for his safe recovery and continuous life. Thank you for those who have spread the word and shared. Very special thank you for those who donated. It is helping very much.
We are still continuing to raise funds and are hopeful for the future. Thank you all. We will keep you updated.
