Irina Shayk Wore a $60 Skirt on the Red Carpet and Made It Look Expensive
rina Shayk can wear anything and make it look high-fashion. Would you have ever guessed that the dramatic, statement-shoulder look she wore to BAZAAR ICONS last night was from H&M?
The model stunned in a velvet two-piece ensemble from H&M's sustainable Conscious Exclusive collection made from recycled polyester. The top, retailing at $129, boasted structured ruffles at the shoulders, and the skirt, marked at $59.99, was covered in ruched detailing. Both pieces will be available to shop at H&M
Shayk added strappy heeled sandals to her look, plus a red handle bag for a pop of color.
Earlier in the night, the model channeled the same romantic, black-and-crimson theme while sitting front row at Jeremy Scott's runway show with Gigi Hadid. She suited up in a belted oversized blazer featuring a cheeky illustration of a dagger piercing into a bleeding heart. Her tiny red shorts peeked out from under the jacket, matching her purse.
When she's not hitting fashion week or posing for the camera, Shayk is a doting mother to her two-year-old daughter, Lea de Seine, whom she shares with Bradley Cooper. But she won't change her sultry personal style just because she's a mom.
"Tell me one reason why, just because you're a mother, you need to wear a longer skirt," she told BAZAAR.com when she starred on our summer digital cover. "No! I don't believe in that. I really don't." She added, "Why should you have to change who you are and how you feel just because you become a mother?"
