It can be difficult (and not just a little depressing) to keep up with developments in Kanye West's life lately. But the latest development is relatively benign as far as West headlines go: the divorce between Ye and ex-wife Kim Kardashian has been officially finalized. The big headline takeaway: Kanye will pay Kim $200,000 per month for child support.

The divorce settlement stipulates "equal access" for both Kardashian and West and their four kids, but sources close to the couple say that Kardashian will be the one who will have them most of the time, a situation that West has acknowledged. In a podcast appearance back in September, he spoke about his relationship to the mother of his children and gave the figure that she would have the kids approximately "80 percent of the time":

"Even to this day, I'll still give Kim advice on things that can help, because that's gonna go to the kids. She's still got [them] 80% of the time — raise those children."

Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty Images

West's share of the child support, that $200,000, doesn't include his responsibility for half of the kids' education expenses as well as half their personal security (West has been seen out in public with his kids and a security detail nearby). The settlement also has a clause about dealing with any parenting disputes that might come up: in any such event, West and Kardashian both agree to attend a mediation session, and if one doesn't show up, the other gets to decide what to do.

The settlement also covers the division of property between West and Kardashian, reportedly following the terms of their prenuptial agreement. And their prenup precludes any spousal support from either party. Kanye has agreed to give Kim a house located across the street from the estate they formerly shared, a home he somewhat infamously purchased for $4.5 million after they separated. A move many called… creepy/stalkerish.

The settlement comes after more than a year of battling between the former couple, with West refusing to cooperate with divorce proceedings. A source told TMZ: "Kim's patience was tested, but she handled things calmly and ultimately Kanye came around."

Now, their divorce is finally settled and the West-Kardashian marriage is officially concluded.

What is Linda Kozlowski's Net Worth?

Linda Kozlowski is an American actress who has a net worth of $10 million. Linda Kozlowski met her second husband, Paul Hogan, on the set of "Crocodile Dundee." She and Hogan tied the knot in 1990 and have a son named Chance. Linda also starred with him in the following Dundee films "Crocodile Dundee II" and "Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles." Other films Kozlowski has appeared in are "Death of a Salesman," "Pass the Ammo," "Almost an Angel," "Backstreet Justice" "The Neighbour," and "Village of the Damned." She also had the role of Sally Crain in the television mini-series "Favorite Son" with Harry Hamlin, in the television movie "Shaughnessy" with Matthew Settle, and in 1982 she played the role of Julie Dean in the television series "Nurse." Kozlowski has retired from acting, stating that she hasn't been happy with the scripts she was offered.

Early Life

Linda Kozlowski was born on January 7, 1958 in Fairfield, Connecticut. She was born into a Polish-American family to parents Helen and Stanley Kozlowski. She attended Andrew Warde High School and graduated in 1976. She then enrolled at the Juilliard School in their drama division, graduating from the program in 1981.

Career

In 1981, Kozlowski debuted in the off-Broadway production of "How It All Began." The show ran until 1982. A few years later, she played the character of Miss Forsythe on Broadway in "Death of a Salesman." The next year, in 1985, she played the same character in the film version of "Death of a Salesman."

In 1986, Kozlowski caught her big break when she was cast as the female lead in the Australian film "Crocodile Dundee." She played opposite the male lead, Paul Hogan. They had obvious chemistry during filming which resulted in a real relationship between the two. In 1987, she was nominated for a Golden Globe award in the Best Supporting Actress category for her role as character Sue Charlton. She reprised the role two years later in "Crocodile Dundee II." The same year, in 1988, she starred with Bill Paxton, Tim Curry, and Annie Plotts in "Pass the Ammo." She also appeared in the television miniseries "Favorite Son."

After rising to the spotlight in the 1980s, Kozlowski's acting career continued in the 1990s. She appeared in the film "Almost an Angel" in 1990. Kozlowski's final film role came in 2001 when she reprised her role as Sue Charlton in the final installment of the "Crocodile Dundee" film series, "Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles." She decided to leave the acting industry because she was dissatisfied with the roles she was being offered, as she was primarily being cast in straight-to-video films during the later years of her career. She ultimately decided to give up acting in order to focus on building a family.

Personal Life

After meeting Hogan on the set of "Crocodile Dundee," the two eventually began a relationship. They had to wait to officially be together until after Hogan divorced his wife, Noelene. Kozlowski and Hogan married in May of 1990. They originally decided to settle in Australia but then moved to Los Angeles in the late 1990s. During their marriage, they had one son together.

In October of 2013, Kozlowski filed for divorce from Hogan. She cited irreconcilable differences. Their divorce was finalized in 2014. In 2017, she married Moulay Hafid Baba. After they married, Kozlowski sold her beach townhome in Venice Beach, California and then relocated to Morocco, the home country of Baba. Baba has worked as tour guide and trip planner, specifically focusing on trips through the Sahara Desert. The couple started a travel firm together, Dream My Destiny. It is said that Kozlowski and her new husband maintain a friendly relationship with Hogan.

Real Estate

In July 2012, Paul and Linda paid $3.8 million for a home in Malibu, California. They sold the home a year later to fellow Australian superstar, Chris Hemsworth.

30/11/2022

Over the course of Michael Jordan's 14 seasons in the NBA, he earned $94 million in TOTAL salary. That's not a typo. Michael Jordan, the greatest athlete of his generation (and some would say the greatest athlete of all time), made a total of $94 million from NBA salaries over the course of his entire career. Michael's peak single-season salary was $33.14 million. He earned that in the 1997-1998 season from the Chicago Bulls. I wanted to put these numbers on the table for context before we discuss a rumor related to Cristiano Ronaldo that is swirling around the sports world today.

According to Italian soccer journalist Fabrizio Romano, a Saudi team called Al Nassr has offered Cristiano a 3-year contract that will come with an annual salary of…

$207 MILLION

That's not $207 million over three years. It's $207 million per year for three years. In other words, Al Nassr has submitted a 3-year $621 million contract to Mr. Ronaldo's agents. That is the largest contract in sports history in terms of average salary per year. Lionel Messi currently holds this record thanks to his 4-year $674 million contract with former team Barcelona. That contract equated to $168 million per year.

Put another way, if the rumors are true, Cristiano Ronaldo will earn $1 million more than Michael Jordan's highest single-season salary… every two months. He will make make TWO TIMES Michael Jordan's entire career earnings… every year… for the next THREE years.

Now to be fair, we should take into account inflation.

Michael Jordan earning $33 million in 1997 is the same as earning around $66 million today. Michael earning $94 million in total salary is the same as earning around $175 million in today's dollars.

So, after adjusting for inflation it will take Cristiano four months to earn Michael's highest single-season salary. And over the course of a full season, Cristiano would still earn $30 million more than Michael's inflation-adjusted total career earnings.

Just a few days ago Cristiano parted ways from his former team, Manchester United. His contract was terminated after he publicly criticized the owners in an interview with Piers Morgan.

Ronaldo is currently competing in something called "the World Cup," representing a team apparently called "Portugal." From an extremely quick internet search I learned that Al Nassr is apparently one of the best clubs in Saudi Arabia, winning the something called "the Saudi Super Cup" in 2020 and 2021.

Highest Paid Athlete in the World

Assuming this contract is eventually consummated, it will make Cristiano Ronaldo the highest paid athlete in the world, by a mile.

In terms of salary alone, Rival soccer superstar Lionel Messi comes in second with his $75 million base salary from Paris St. Germain. Though, as we stated earlier, Messi did previously make $168 million under his contract with former team Barcelona. But even that contract is around $40 million LESS than the Saudi Ronaldo contract.

This contract should also finally boost Cristiano's net worth above Messi's net worth. We currently estimate Cristiano Ronaldo's net worth to be $500 million, vs. Messi's $600 million net worth.

If you've been following the FTX saga, you know the cryptocurrency exchange company is in dire straits. The Department of Justice and the Securities and Exchange Commission are investigating FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried and the company for allegedly mishandling customers' funds. The company owes more than $3 billion to creditors and recently filed for bankruptcy.

For the long list of celebrity FTX endorsers—including Steph Curry, Tom Brady, and Shaquille O'Neal—that's a bad look. They've put their reputation and money behind the company, and likely won't see either fully recover.

But perhaps no one is more frustrated by FTX's collapse than the Miami Heat. Or, rather, the entire Miami-Dade County. That's because the Heat plays in FTX Arena — and they're only in the second season of a 20-year, $135 million naming rights deal.

Megan Briggs/Getty Images

The county owns the arena, so they've asked a federal judge to void the agreement immediately. After FTX filed for bankruptcy, a judge issued a "stay" order, which means no entity can act against the company. A court will hear Miami-Dade's case on December 16. If the decision goes against the county, the Heat will still be playing in FTX Arena until 2040.

Miami-Dade has already received nearly $20 million from FTX and owes another $5.5 million in January. If FTX defaults, it would owe an additional $17 million over the next three years.

For now, the Heat still calls FTX Arena home. The FTX logo is on the outside of the building, on the court, and on the Heat jerseys. Heat legend Udonis Haslem starred in an FTX commercial that aired for several months during game broadcasts.

Back in 2021, when FTX was thriving, it signed multiple sport sponsorship deals. MLB named FTX the official cryptocurrency exchange of the league. The Golden State Warriors, Washington Wizards, and Washington Capitals all have FTX contracts, too.

The next few weeks will be especially tense for Miami-Dade County. The greater Miami area has already been hit hard by the sharp decline of crypto, and having to sport the name of a failed crypto exchange would be a long-term black eye on the city.

What is Bob Weinstein's Net Worth?

Bob Weinstein is an American film producer who has a net worth of $200 million. Bob Weinstein is the founder of Dimension Films and co-founder of The Weinstein Company, along with his disgraced brother Harvey Weinstein. Together they owned a combined 42% of the company which filed for bankruptcy in 2018. Previously Harvey and Bob Weinstein were the co-chairmans of Miramax Films. Bob and Harvey produced rock concerts after graduating from college and then moved on to movies. Bob Weinstein has almost 300 production credits to his name including movies and TV series such as True Romance, Clerks, Pulp Fiction, The Crossing Guard, The English Patient, Scream, The Faculty, Halloween H20: 20 Years Later, Good Will Hunting, Jackie Brown, Shakespeare in Love, The Cider House Rules, She's All That, Scary Movie, The Lord of the Rings film trilogy, Kate & Leopold, Serendipity, Chicago, Gangs of New York, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2, The Aviator, Fahrenheit 9/11, Finding Neverland, Sin City, Clerks 2, Halloween, Inglourious Basterds, Apollo 18, and Piranha 3DD. Weinstein has been nominated for 12 Primetime Emmy Awards. While operating The Weinstein Company, the brothers produced The Imitation Game. The Butler, Inglorious Basterds, Silver Linings Playbook and Django Unchained, to name a few. In 2017, Harvey Weinstein was forced to respond to numerous sexual harassment claims lodged by women such as Ashley Judd dating back 20 years. On October 9, 2017, Harvey was fired by the board of directors of The Weinstein Company. In March 2020 Harvey was sentenced to 23 years in prison.

Early Life

Bob Weinstein was born on October 18, 1954 in Flushing, Queens, New York. He was raised in a lower middle class Ashkenazi Jewish family by parents Max and Miriam Weinstein. His father worked as a diamond cutter. He grew up with his older brother, Harvey Weinstein. The family lived in a housing co-op called Electchester. He attended John Bowne High School. He then enrolled at State University of New York at Fredonia, though he did not often attend, rather enjoying listening to music and watching films.

Concert Career

While still in college, Weinstein became interested in joining his older brother, Harvey, in a production company Harvey had launched with a friend, Corky Burger, called Harvey & Corky Productions. Weinstein ultimately decided to drop out of college in the early 1970s and moved to Buffalo, New York, where Harvey was enrolled at the University of Buffalo.

The brothers and Corky originally focused their business on arranging and planning concerts at Century Theater. They would bring in well-known artists like the Rolling Stones, Frank Sinatra, and Stephen Stills. However, planning concerts did not prove to be very profitable so they decided to begin screening films at the theater as well.

Miramax

Using their profits from the company, the brothers decided to create a small independent film distribution company Miramax. They named the company after their parents, Miriam and Max. The focused on releasing independent films that other distribution companies had turned down for fear that they wouldn't be commercially successful. The company's first releases were primarily music-oriented concert films like "Rockshow," featuring Paul McCartney. In the 1980s, Miramax acquired the rights to two films that that had been filmed in Britain for the human rights organization, Amnesty International. Miramax edited the two original films into one movie, "The Secret Policeman's Other Ball," which was released in 1982 and became Miramax's first hit.

The brothers built on this success over the next decade, releasing a number of critically-acclaimed arthouse films which were moderate commercial success. They released the documentary, "The Thin Blue Line," in 1988 which told the story of a wrongfully convicted inmate sentenced to death row. The publicity that came from the movie ultimately resulted in the inmate's release and helped increase Miramax's profile in the media. The next year, they released "S*x, Lies, and Videotape," by Steven Soderbergh, which made Miramax the most successful independent studio in America.

In 1993, Disney offered the brothers $80 million for ownership of Miramax. They agreed to the deal and also were able to remain the heads of the company. The next year, the released their first blockbuster film, Quentin Tarantino's "Pulp Fiction." In 1996, they released "The English Patient," which won the Academy Award for Best Picture. In the years that followed, they released other critical successes like "Shakespeare in Love" and "Good Will Hunting."

The Weinstein Company

In 2005, the Weinstein brothers announced that they would be leaving Miramax in order to start their own production company. They called the resulting company The Weinstein Company. The company was very successful over the next decade and a half, releasing many critically and commercially successful films. Some of these films include "The King's Speech," "Inglourious Basterds," "Silver Linings Playbook," "The Imitation Game," "Halloween," "1408," and Paddington," to name a few. However, after a very successful run, the company had to file for bankruptcy in 2018 following the sexual harassment and abuse allegations against Harvey Weinstein in 2017.

In December of 2017, Bob Weinstein filed a trademark application for Watch This Entertainment. He spent the next two years developed an idea for a new production company. He announced that the company would focus on family films, comedies, and upscale adult thrillers. The first project released under the company was the animated feature film, "Endangered."

Personal Life

Bob Weinstein married Anne Clayton, a book editor, in 2000. The lived in a luxury apartment in the Upper West Side of New York and had two daughters together – Sara and Nicole. In 2012, Anne filed for divorce from Weinstein and also sought a protective order as she stated that she feared he may physically harm her. Weinstein alleged that his wife was actually reacting badly to an intervention the family had staged in order to address Anne's struggle with alcoholism. Anne subsequently denied that she had a problem with alcohol and maintained that Weinstein had concocted the story.

In October of 2017, multiple women accused Weinstein's brother, Harvey, of sexual harassment and assault. Bob Weinstein issued a statement that he was disgusted by the actions of his brother and denied having any knowledge of the allegations. He also distanced himself from his brother, saying the two had not had much contact in the five preceding years. Around the same time, Bob Weinstein was also accused of sexual harassment by Amanda Segel, a woman who had worked as a showrunner on the Weinstein Company-produced miniseries, "The Mist." She alleged that Weinstein had made unwanted sexual advances towards her for a period of three months in 2016. Weinstein issued a statement denying the allegations and no charges were ever filed.
