Loud For Goodness is a DIY record label based in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. Loud For Goodness started officially in July of 2010. LFG include with backgrounds in events management (Glasslike with “Hearing Goodness” and Tuesday Ceremony with “Quiet and Loud”) and public relations/marketing. Based on these, we supporting the local scene with a innovative and cooperative musicians/artists, and
DIY-rooted method by publishing album, promoting bands to caring people within College, Community & Radio Programs, Magazine, CD Review Sites, Blog & MySpace. Loud For Goodness is moving forward in 2010, with new releases including a Split Album “We Sit Under The Big Bright Yellow Sun In The Sparkle Afternoon”, to be released this October 2010. Loud For Goodness sound like post-rock/instrumental, shoegaze, dreampop, experimental , electronica and most things indie in a roots. Press Release
“Most people would assume that sad music is chronically listened to by sad people who are just making themselves sadder. Not so,some people enjoy it” . (Ai Kawakami and colleagues from Tokyo University of the Arts and the RIKEN Brain Science Institute, Japan).
Musik sedih sering kali dikatakan indah dan sangat menyentuh, terutama kekuatan aransemen musik yang diciptakan oleh para musisi/seniman secara jujur. Hal ini memungkinkan untuk apresiasi terhadap emosi-emosi yang sering tersembunyi. Mendengarkan musik sedih merupakan alternatif yang memungkinkan orang sedih untuk merasa dimengerti dan dapat menekan emosi kesedihan mereka untuk bangkit dari keterpurukan/kesedihan.
Berdasarkan itulah Loud For Goodness Record dan Glasslike menggelar event “Royal Sadness #3“ yang merupakan sebuah gelaran D.I.Y gigs/event musik yang berlangsung regular. Event ini merupakan sebuah wadah komunitas independen yang mendukung pergerakkan local scene dengan mengusung konsep Sad Music . Tidak hanya itu misi yang kita ambil dari pergerakkan ini tentunya untuk mengapresiasikan karya – karya dari para musisi yang mengusung genre shoegaze, dreampop, postrock, dark ambient, dan sebagainya (yang bisa di linierkan dengan sad music ) dengan memperdengarkan secara langsung karya mereka kepada khalayak. Selain itu juga para visual artist dapat memvisualkan karya-karya mereka secara langsung melalui video mapping. Yang dapat menjadikan inspirasi-insipirasi baru bagi perkembangan musik dan visual art di Indonesia.
Acara “ROYAL SADNESS #3” akan diadakan di Je Mache Café Jl. Tebet Utara Dalam No.13 Jakarta pada hari Sabtu, tanggal 28 September 2013. Dalam event yang di organized oleh Loud For Goodness Record dan Glasslike ini, akan diisi oleh :
