Happy Fathers Day (& late birthday shout out too lol) to this guy! Tanner is the kinda Dad who draws cats on pink paper for his 1 year old because he knows she gets excited when she sees them, and does daily language learning activities with our 4 year old making it such a fun experience for her! ☀️ those are just two examples of soo many. he’s present and purposeful and we are all obsessed with him!! 🤍 Hope you all have a great Sunday!!

ahh last week!! we went on our first trip without Willa & gosh we missed her so much! we cruised to France, Italy & Spain & left pretty confident this won’t be our last cruise-BIG FANS! 🛳

& that’s a WRAP! We just said “see ya later” to our last visitor here in Germany for the year! The memories we have had with family & friends this year have been TOP NOTCH. We feel so lucky to have had siblings, parents, grandparents & even aunts/uncles come visit us at our home this year. We also were just able to squeeze in a trip with our best friends here in Europe! ☺️ Living abroad comes with its challenges (the top one missing our people so much), but it also comes with some incredible one-on-one time with them when they come to visit! 🥰

Today’s YouTube video takes place in one of our favorite alpine towns, Kranjska Gora! 🏔Tanner runs a 30km race in the snow & rain! It was quite the experience as he & other runners ended up showings signs + symptoms of hypothermia! He ended up making it to the finish line, but the race was eventually cancelled because it was too dangerous!! Crazy right? He loved it though & we all loved cheering him on! 👏 Go give it a watch to see the adventure in action! 🎥

Tanner joined us in BUDAPEST, HUNGARY! 🇭🇺 Very happy to have him with us as we explore a country that means a lot to my family! 😊 My grandpa is half Hungarian & grew up speaking the language so exploring this country for the first time altogether has been really special! Here’s some fun snaps of the past couple days in this beautiful country. ☺️

Have you ever heard of MUD-FLAT hiking? In todays YouTube video, we are the the North Sea experiencing mud-flat hiking. We participate in this very unique activity in Cuxhaven, a seaside town home to the UNESCO World Heritage Wadden Sea Visitor Centre and the gateway to the walkable island of Neuwerk. It was a very windy day, but oh boy did we have fun! 😊

We have reached adulthood!! A couple nights ago Tanner & I went star gazing on our own trampoline, in our own backyard! This has been my wish since forever it seems. I didn’t grow up with a trampoline, so having a sleepover with my cousins on my grandparents tramp was always a Summer highlight. Now Tanner & I get to have one whenever we please. WE’VE MADE IT! 😂🙌

On our first time in Poland & Slovakia, we find ourselves caught in a snow storm while hiking in the Tatra Mountains! But hey, we have fun and find quite possibly the most underrated national park! Go give it a watch! 😊🏔

We explored Poland for the first time last week!😊 That was Risa’s 30th country she’s traveled to & Willa’s 10th (not including 5 others in mommy’s belly). Tanner’s at 28 countries so close behind but let’s be honest, if Willa keeps this up she’ll see them all in no time! 😉

Also p.s. a family picture other than a selfie seems to be a bit rare for us when traveling. We have enough video + camera gear we typically don’t make room for a tripod. So big thanks to mom and dad for helping to document all three of us. 😊
