what's better than photographing a family once...?..having the privilege to photograph them multiple times! there's something so special about being able to document every stage of a child's life. this family in particular will always be one of my top faves!! watching Brooke & Aiden grow up is one of my absolute favorite things (and capturing each milestone for their sweet family) 📸🫶

6 sessions. 479 children impacted by a caregiver's cancer. 4 states & 4 incredible chapters. 1 girl with 1 camera.....and a lifetime of Kesem magic captured🩵💚

this summer has been a dream come true. I remember being a Kesem student volunteer at UM, wishing there could one day be a way that I could spend all summer with Kesem, doing what I love professionally -- documenting the magic. never could I have imagined the relationships I have formed, the opportunities I have been given to travel the country, and the memories I would be capturing (and making along the way) all of these summers since then.

this summer was a really special one for me. while at one of the sessions, my mom celebrated her ten year anniversary being cancer-free. if I couldn't be at home celebrating with her, there is nowhere else I would've wanted to be than at Kesem.

to the best community I could ever imagine, and the one that I desperately needed 11 years ago -- thank you for continuing to allow me to document such incredible moments, both big and small. thank you to the chapters that invited me (, , , and ), the volunteers that welcomed me, and the campers that continuously inspire me. thank you for a record-setting summer (the most amount of sessions I have done in one summer) that I will truly never forget. thank you to for existing and for providing an escape for these campers.

Rucha and Krunaal's proposal is one that I will never forget 💍

when Krunaal contacted me through my website, interested in hiring me to photograph his upcoming proposal, I was surprised to realize that he was contacting me from California. when we spoke on the phone for the consultation call (free of charge offered to everyone interested in a proposal shoot), I learned that he would be on vacation in Miami with a group of friends for a limited number of days, and that he wanted to propose then. the imposter syndrome was real when it sunk in that he chose me, from all the photographers that he researched in the area. he told me he felt comfortable with me after our conversation, and he trusted me to scout the location that he was most interested in, where I made sure to FaceTime him in from across the country (normally, I meet with the person proposing at the spot prior to the proposal, so they can feel comfortable with me and have all questions answered). meeting him in-person for the first time on the big day was such a fun experience, adding to the adrenaline rush that I always feel the day of proposals!

Krunaal was incredible to work with, and Rucha is one of the sweetest people that I've ever had the pleasure to meet. add in their awesome hype group with their friends, and the delicious drinks provided by , and everything came together for a dream come true evening. congratulations on your engagement, Rucha and Krunaal! ❤️

every love story is unique, and deserves a photographer who is flexible, creative, and always down to try something new when capturing big moments like a proposal for them. thank you to every couple who has trusted me to document such an incredible moment, that I hope you are able to cherish for a lifetime 🫶

I always have such an incredible time documenting the magic at Kesem at Marquette University! So grateful for this family I have gained. This was my first of six sessions of Kesem I am working this summer, and it was such a strong and incredible way to start the season!

graduate season with started this past weekend with these two gorgeous graduates, Maddy at and Alexia at . the weather was awesome, the music selections were on point, and the vibes were absolutely perfect; I can't imagine a better way to have started graduate season this year than with these girls, who are just as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside! 🫶

isn't it amazing what you can do in just 15 minutes? 📸

for families with young kids -- especially kids under one year old! -- I always recommend booking the 15-minute session that I offer. I sometimes am asked if I really think we can capture a good amount of photos in such a short amount of time... and I always end up returning way more than my clients expect!

the moment that Allison told me what music to play on my speaker, I knew this engagement shoot would be 💯

Allison & I had this shoot planned for months, but in typical Miami behavior, one thing we could not plan for was the weather. if you live in south Florida, you know how it can be beautiful weather one day, and a horrible storm the next. on the day of Allison & Richey's engagement shoot, it was raining alllll day....but stopped the moment we started photographing!

you would think that the quick change in weather would have set the shoot up to be incredible, but in all honesty, I knew we would have a blast no matter what (dancing around in the rain or not), because on the drive over, Allison answered my question asking what music they prefer I play during their shoot on my speaker. typically, for engagement photos, I play a lot of country music, Ed Sheeran, or John Legend. but when Allison answered that they love Pitbull, Ricky Martin, Enrique Iglesias, and Michael Jackson, I knew we would vibe so well. if you know me, you know my hype music is always Pitbull, and it turns out that Allison & Richey were at the Trilogy Tour a few weeks prior, the same night that I went! 😂

aside from their incredible music taste... their story is so sweet, the hurdles of long distance they have overcome is inspiring, and their love is so real. I had an incredible time documenting their love story❤️ congratulations on your engagement, Allison & Richey!

I always love photographing at my alma mater🙌

to think that I captured my first set of graduate photos in December 2016 on this same campus, and have done so every semester since, is so mind blowing to me when I reflect on how much time has passed. I remember having to balance capturing graduate photos, with taking final exams, and in spring 2019, adding on making sure to schedule time for me to have my own photos taken! I loved each & every one then, but I definitely have a newfound appreciation for them now. each shoot at UM is extra special to me because walking on this campus, still doing what I love, reminds me just how far I have come... if only 2016 Bella could see me now🥹

from undergraduate portraits to law school graduates, with not one but two grads bringing their dogs (which is one of my favorite things ever!!), last semester did not disappoint. congratulations Jamie, Samantha, Natalie, Moshe, and Cassadee on your graduations! 🎓✨

anyone else in denial that the holidays are over? 🌲❤️

this was such a fun way for Jess to use the giveaway shoot she had won! Jess & Bryan are newlyweds, and they wanted to have a fun photo shoot that would make their first holiday cards as husband & wife one to remember. we found one of the only Christmas tree farms in Miami, stopped to hang with Santa for a bit, and chased the gorgeous sunset together. the result? these shots (and much more!) 🥰

let this be your sign to follow your heart when planning your shoots. you should work with a photographer who you feel comfortable bouncing ideas around with, and someone who is always down for something new & exciting.

I have been booked by more & more Florida International University graduates as each semester passes. I love getting to explore the campus (finding secret spots & experimenting for the best angles), but mostly, I am so humbled knowing that students at a university that I didn't personally attend are recommending me to so many people there!

I had the best time getting to know kind Victoria, reuniting with incredible Camila (I took her undergraduate photos a few years ago, and her stunning dog Ibra posed with her at both shoots!), and meeting selfless Claudia (and her gorgeous daughter). each girl is just as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside. congratulations on your graduation, girlies! 🎓✨

watching this sweet boy grow up has been such a joy💛

I can't believe that I've been photographing this incredible family for almost two full years. I met Amy when she was pregnant, and got to meet Eldy & baby Luca when he was just a few weeks old for his first ever photoshoot! (he still holds the record of being my youngest model yet!). since then, I have captured his first birthday portraits, and now their family portraits last month. seeing his personality change at each shoot has been so much fun. knowing this family is a privilege. I am just so lucky I get to meet & work with such amazing people!

this was one of the most important moments I will ever have the privilege to photograph 💍

my big brother, Vincent, met the incredible Ricci while they both were in medical school at UCF. I had the honor of being the first family member to meet her within the first few months of them dating when I went to Orlando with my best friend. from that moment, I had a really good feeling about her; aside from the fact that she and I both could talk about Gilmore Girls and Taylor Swift together for hours, I could see the way that they interacted with each other, a way that seemed so natural and comfortable.

when you grow up with someone like you do with your siblings, you get so used to them and having them around all the time. Vincent leaving for medical school was the first time my siblings and I were no longer in the same city. the few trips that we had over those four years became that much more special, because we understood the importance of our limited time together. each new trip came with all three of us growing up, accomplishing achievements, facing some of life's hardest challenges, and more; but through it all, always being there for each other. the years that Vincent and Ricci were together were some of the years that I felt closest to my brother (because we learned the importance of appreciating our time together while we had it), and I think she had a big part in that.

they truly make each other better people, and not only are they both hard-working, dedicated, incredible doctors, but are navigating life together so successfully. when Vincent was able to come to Miami and surprise my dad for his birthday dinner, the fact that he wanted to plan this incredibly special moment between him and Ricci -- making sure to include myself and my brother, Daniel -- is something that I will never be able to put into words how much it means to me.

Ricci is everything and more I could ask for in a sister, and I can't wait for more moments and trips with them, truly soaking in every single second we get together. congratulations on your engagement, Ricci and Vincent -- here's to a lifetime of nothing but love and happiness! ❤️

I want to take a moment to honor & acknowledge the beauty that is foster care.❤️

it's difficult to put into words the immense emotions involved with fostering children, especially as an outsider who has never experienced it herself. to be honest, I was a bit uneducated on the subject before -- my main knowledge came from depictions in books or movies, or in the sadder circumstances, horror stories heard on the news.

a few years ago, my cousin & his wife started their journey with foster care. after the first baby put in their care (who has since been reunited with his birth family but thankfully is still is in their lives), they have had two beautiful girls (who happen to be sisters) in their care, and have completely opened my eyes to the reality -- both the pains & the beauty -- of foster care when done with pure love.

they are raising these girls in a kind, loving, fruitful, encouraging, & faith-filled environment. when the girls look back on their childhood memories, they are going to remember how silly their dad is, always making them smile & laugh; how thoughtful their mom is, always prioritizing them (& baking the yummiest sweets!); how much fun they had playing, laughing, & learning, always at their sister's side; but most importantly, they will only know how safe and loved they were from the moment they met Maegan & Dominic.

Maegan describes foster care as the hardest thing they've ever done, while also being the most rewarding. every court date & unknown they face is totally worth it to be loved & to love these girls so much.

to everyone who has helped strengthen the foster care system into a positive, loving, & rewarding environment -- thank you. I am in awe of the strength within foster parents, and I hope for every child in foster care to find the loving homes that they so rightfully deserve.❤️

this is my mood with fall grad season starting soon🎉

believe it or not, I have been receiving inquiries for fall graduates since January. as soon as you know when you will have your regalia, you can book your shoot! here's a little tip: most people think you have to wait to have your shoot close to graduation day, but that isn't the case. in fact, it's better to do it earlier, because campus will be less busy (meaning you won't have to wait in long lines at popular spots to pose), and you will ensure you get all your photos back way before graduation day happens!
