The groundbreaking ceremony for nine (9) projects for five (5) barangays was held in succeeding days in the Municipality of Magsaysay, Occidental Mindoro in partnership with KALAHI CIDDS-NCDDP AF.

Sa panayam ni Kabayan Noli De Castro, kinumpirma ni Mayor B**g Marquez na mayroong 97 katao kabilang ang mga titser at estudyante mula sa San Francisco Elementary School ang hinihinalang na-food poison dahil sa pagkain ng lumpiang gulay na may lamang kalabasa at gulay, October 10.
Ganun pa man, sinabi ni Mayor Marquez na ‘𝘸𝘢𝘭𝘢 𝘱𝘢 𝘯𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘨𝘢𝘴𝘺𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘵 𝘭𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘣𝘢𝘴 𝘯𝘢 𝘮𝘨𝘢 𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘯𝘢𝘺 𝘬𝘶𝘯𝘨 ‘𝘺𝘶𝘯 𝘯𝘨𝘢.’
Sa pagtatanong pa ni Kabayan kung saan galing ang lumpia, sagot ni Mayor Marquez ay mayroong isang Barangay Health Worker na siyang nagdadala ng pagkain sa eskwelahan.
Nahihirapan din na makumpirma kung ang sinasabing lumpia ang siyang dahilan ng food poisoning dahil naubos na ito at wala nang mapagkunan ng ‘sample’ para mai-subject sa test.

Mayor Michael Diaz and Paluan MPS signed a Pledge Of Commitment to revitalize the implementation of KASIMBAYANAN Program which involves the cooperation of Kapulisan, Simbahan, & Pamayanan in promoting peace and order in the community.
A brainchild of PNP Chief General Rodolfo S. Azurin Jr., KASIMBAYANAN was first launched when he was still a Director of Police Regional Office 1 which resulted in a 50% crime volume reduction in Ilocos and Pangasinan area.
The program launched an unrelenting campaign against criminality, illegal drugs, corruption, and insurgency using a formula in which local government units, the police force, the Church, and the community “collaborate, cooperate and commit to working together for the prevention and control of crimes in order to make the community safe and peaceful." With its positive effect, he then initiated its nationwide implementation upon his appointment as PNP Chief.
Together with members of Sangguniang Bayan led by Vice Mayor Jasmin Fernandez, Mayor Diaz reiterated his commitment to support every effort in strengthening community and social balance by maintaining peace and order among his constituents in coordination with PNP and the religious sector.

Mayor Lynn Tria is putting on a heavyweight in establishing plans and programs for the protection of children in Mamburao with issues and news of OSYs, teenage pregnancies & petty crimes involving youth.
Together with DILG and MSWDO, Mayor Tria convened the Municipal Council for the Protection of Children (MCPC) meeting last October 4, 2022.
Three youth representatives (ages 10-15) who were elected during Municipal Children's Congress (September 26) were also presented as official members of MCPC. They are Aminah Magracia (Brgy. Payompon), Amirah Dapatnapo (Brgy. Talabaan), and Marcel Bainto (Brgy. Tangkalan)

The Municipality of Mamburao will have a new Municipal Police Station Chief of Police with the assignment of PMAJ Santos B. Soriano, replacing outgoing PMAJ Rodolfo O. Camba.
PMAJ Soriano's last tour of duty is with 1st Occidental Mindoro Mobile Force Company as its Assistant Force Commander in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro.
In the last five years, Mamburao Municipal Police Station OccMin saw several leadership changes. Most of the time, the assigned Chief of Police stays in position for just a couple of months. PMAJ Camba, however, stayed in command for almost two years.
Relinquishing command of Mamburao MPS, PMAJ Camba will then be assigned at Occidental Mindoro Police Provincial Office.

| After years of waiting, 503 individuals including IPs from the Municipality of Abra de Ilog will finally receive P4,600.00 after being identified as beneficiaries of DSWD - UCT or the Unconditional Cash Transfer Payout held last 8 October 2022. Said amount can be accessed using ATM Card issued by Landbank.
The event was made possible through concerted efforts of different agencies including DSWD represented by Social Welfare Officer II Rosemarie V. Pidenes & Project Development Officer I Arah Mae G. Figueroa, Landbank, and Mswdo Abra de Ilog

Based on the communication released by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Provincial Office dated 23 September 2022, Abra de Ilog LGU under the administration of Mayor Meg Constantino receives a 96% functionality rating for its Local Committee on Anti-Trafficking and Violence Against Women and Children (LCAT-VAWC) after being assessed by the former.
They also garnered a 93.14% rating for their Municipal Council for the Protection of Children (MCPC).
The ratings they received are enough for the two Council's functionality to be considered at 'IDEAL LEVEL' based on the standards set by the DILG.
