Looking for a fun way for students to practice their graphing circle skills? Try this!
It’s called a “Swap Meet”! A “Swap Meet” gets students up and moving! It also gives them an opportunity to “meet” other students in their class and “swap” with them!
Here’s how it works:
1) Half of the class gets a “center” card.
2) The other half of the class gets a “radius” (or diameter) card.
3) Students pair up with someone who has the opposite card as them. Together, they write an equation and graph their circle.
4) After graphing, they “SWAP” cards and go “MEET” a new classmate!
I love seeing my students interact with each other and collaborate on math ❤️
Comment “CIRCLES” and I’ll send you the link to this fun activity!
