Let’s Ant-𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱𝘦 Canyon away🧡
Day 1424: one of the most beautiful places I have personally been to and this is now my locked screen background.
📍Antelope Canyon, Page, Arizona
Check out our reel for details on how to get here with your pups🛶
This place was also really remarkable in many ways:
1) we bumped into a talented dog photographer and she helped us take some pictures of our pups, very excited to receive the final edited shots📸
2) I lost my sunglasses here and didn’t realize it until we were already on our kayak paddling back. We were the last ones there an hour away from sunset time, we debated if we should even look for them…there is a chance of getting lost in the dark with zero cell service🙃
then we encountered an older couple who were JUST arriving to check out the lower antelope canyon after going on an upper antelope canyon tour. Knowing there would be another group gave us reassurance that if anything happens, they could find help for us🚨
We retraced our steps…and finally found my sunglasses😎 it probably fell off when I had to carry G up the ladder and larger rocks.
The older couple left with us at the same time, as we paddled together and chatted, we found out they are also Canadians, actually from Vancouver Island🇨🇦
We took some photos together and exchanged emails. Super nice retired couple, they are still traveling everywhere right now in their truck camper.
3) if you have read this far, pat yourself on the back😂
As we were kayaking back, we observed the most stunning sunset in the CHOPPIEST waters🌊 it took ~an hour to kayak from the marina to the entrance of the canyon, it took almost double that time heading back even though we paddled 3x harder.
If you finished reading, thank you😘
I keep Gunner’s account like a diary, which is why there is day counting on the top of our posts and reels.
