It is incredible to me that as of today, I have been a Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for 22 years! In so many ways, the time seems to have both flown by, but also be a long, charted course. I am in awe thinking of the things that have transpired both in my individual life, and the world during the years that have gone by.
With all of the changes that have happened during this timeframe, one thing has remained the same for me. I’m grateful for the Lord leading me to the gospel, and through the decision I made to alter my life to following this path, it has lead me to both spiritual and temporal blessings. I have been blessed to meet incredible brothers and sisters in the gospel who are amazing friends and people in my life. It has also led me down a path of a once uncertain, but eventual successful education career, which has opened doors to career paths I previously couldn’t have imagined 22 years ago.
While there have been challenges and trials in the mist of these blessings, at the end of the day, the words of my late grandmother Adele ring true in my mind, “Always trust that no matter what circumstances of life comes your way, good or bad, that the Lord will always make a way for you to overcome, out of no way at all.” Her words of wisdom have proven to be true, as I have followed her guidance to trust the Lord to lead me down paths I didn’t know existed, and I know he will continue to do so, as I continue to trust him. Thank you friends/family for all your support to me throughout these years. 🙏
