I am so close to getting the Airbnb listed!! This room might be my favorite probably because of the blood, sweat, and tears that went into making this headboard.

This has been quite the process and I never thought I’d be sick of seeing Amazon packages but I definitely am. Cannot wait to be able to share my home away from home with y’all 🌵

Well we were supposed to head back to CO tomorrow but that’s not gonna happen 🤷🏼‍♀️

There’s still a lot more to do and I have a feeling I’m still not going to be ready by the time I have to leave on April 2nd.

Plans don’t always go the way we want them to but that’s okay. Definitely not mad about missing the snowiest month of the year in CO for 70 degree weather 😅

Less than a month and we head to the desert to get the new house ready!

Don’t get me wrong, I love Denver and I wouldn’t want to move to Phoenix full time but it’s about this time every winter when I’m ready for some warmth.

Many of you know, Remy wasn’t allowed soft toys for a long time. I have been working so hard with her on not tearing them apart immediately. For a while she was only allowed to have them with supervision and has even learned “don’t ruin the fun” means she’s getting too rough 😂

She’s been doing so well and I’m allowing her to have more of them. Most recently she’s obsessed with this llama from She takes it to her bed and in typical Remy fashion throws it for herself.

December 13, 2020 @ Marshall Mesa Trail covered in snow. Fast forward to yesterday, we’ve gotten all of one inch of snow this season and saw the most devastating fire in Colorado history.

My heart is broken for my friends who have lost their homes and this area that I used to call home. Never in a million years do you think something like this can happen.

I am so lucky that Hank, Remy, and I are a few miles south of the fire and we are safe. If you were impacted, please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need help ❤️

My theme song over the last year has been Superbloom and it’s feeling like that’s not going to change anytime soon. We are all “resilient little things” 🌸

🥳 Happy birthday Remy girl! 3 years old and still crazy as ever but that spirit shines bright.

When I adopted Remy at 6 months, I knew I wanted a “project dog”. She had no socialization and was locked in a crate for her first months of life. She wouldn’t go near anyone without barking. Slowly but surely (and with a lot of help from Hank) I won her over.

In 2.5 years she has come so far and can greet *most* humans without barking at them. And once you’re in her circle of trust, watch out, cause the head dives into snuggles are painful 🙃

Love this silly forever pup so much. Too smart for her own good and she talks 24/7 but I wouldn’t have it any other way 🥰
