Key points to consider:
1. Access refinement should be done with a diamond coated ultrasonic tip, gives you better accessibility compared toto a contra-angled handpiece
2. Access should be flared mesially for better video and file entry into the canals

Sometimes you can face this situation in the distal root of lower molars
Where the distal canal splits into 2
What you see coronally in the beginning of the case is just one distal or***ce
You have to precurve your file lingually to get into the lingual canal ( you’ll feel a different catch)
After some shaping you can see the split level and distinguish the 2 canals using magnification

During the previous operator’s search for the canal, he accidentally made a mesial perforation.
It was closed with RMGI.

RCT for an upper second molar with a calcified Distobuccal canal
Tips for locating calcified canals:
1. Magnification & illumination (loupes or microscope)
2. Search with an ultrasonic tip (less destructive and will give you a good view compared to stones or burs attached to a handpiece)
3. Irrigation with EDTA solution to remove debris
4. Check for a dark spot to find the or***ce
5. Take radiographs mid procedure to evaluate the direction of your troughing, you might be going in a wrong direction and cause a perforation

Retreatment of a failed single cone obturation in a lower molar with a C-shaped configuration.
Diagnosis: Previously treated with a phoenix abscess

One of the useful tools in GP removal is the XP-shaper file.
Irrigant activation is also very beneficial in such cases, to push the irrigant in the wide isthmus

Sometimes in the upper second molar the canals are very close to each other, so you have to search for them carefully using magnification, illumination and ultrasonic tips to try to be as conservative as you can withou compromising the convenience you needIn this case the DB canal was found after troughing the floor with an US tipThen Glide Path was created using a #10 K-File with EDTA in watch-winding motion until it super loose; which is a crucial step in managing curved canals before jumping in with rotary files to the WL Then rotary files are moved gradually to the WL#Endo

RCT for a lower wisdom tooth with symptomatic irreversible pulpitis. Mesial canals configuration was 1-2-1. One that that needs good Magnification and illumination to be able to see and negotiate both canals inside the same orifice.
