We believe in the spirit of rebellion: the desire for freedom and self-determination, the hope for a fair and hospitable world, and the need to topple oppressors and interlopers al
l bound together into one course-altering, evolutionary force. It’s one of human history’s main characters, such that it may as well be in our DNA, and it’s the reason why no tyrant lives in peace. Our goal is to help further the rebellion of today—to help channel this human spirit and apply it to the here and now. Towards this end, we promote three general themes. One is non-compliance: with consumer culture, divisive influences, false expectations, and more. The next theme is the pursuit of mental sovereignty, and the last is living as our highest selves. These three often overlap, and once we launch, you can read more about them as concepts. Through these lenses, we view life’s many facets: everything from culture and politics to health and spirituality. While we believe that positive rebellion today is more spiritual and internal than anything else (more on this at launch), we recognize the significance in every human endeavor. Always, our central message is the same. Revolution is grass-roots, bottom-up work. It starts within us, and it manifests in so many different ways, which depend on both the individual and the context. Even the simplest act can serve great purpose. Even the smallest lifestyle change can have profound effects. Every single person can spread goodness and joy. This is an interesting time to be alive; never before has so much harmony and prosperity been within our grasp, and our ideas of human potential grow by leaps and bounds. Here and now, we the people have an opportunity to start building anew, and we can take the high road along the way. That’s the True Rebellion. Welcome to the ranks.
