Born: January 15, 1954
Occupation: Car dealer

Frank Mitchell is a character on the UPN series Moesha. He was portrayed by William Allen Young.

Character Information:

Frank Mitchell owns a Saturn car dealership and the widowed father of Moesha and Myles Mitchell. He married his second wife/Moesha's and Myles' stepmother in 1994 named, Deidra Moss 'Dee' Mitchell. He used to work at a Saturn dealership before he bought his own. It is later revealed by a close relative that Frank had an affair with another woman, Barbara Lee, (season 6, portrayed by Olivia Brown), during his first marriage to Marguerite Jennings Mitchell, (deceased, died 1992, R.I.P.) and had a child with her. The child Dorian Long, (portrayed by Brandy's real-life brother Ray J. Norwood) was raised as Frank's sister, Sandy as his nephew. Dorian believed Sandy Mitchell was his adopted mother but it turned out that Barbara Lee was his real birth mother. The revelation of Frank's affair and paternity caused Dorian to rebel and Moesha to move out of the house permanently.

Frank can sometimes be hypocritical in his views/convictions. For instance, when Dee doesn't disclose that Moesha was taking birth control he felt betrayed believing he had a right to know what's going on in her life. Meanwhile, he brought Dorian to live with them without telling Dee that Dorian was his son.

Frank's relationship with Dorian is rocky despite having similar growing pains. For instance, Dorian got pulled by the police after taking a car from Franks lot after making a run for Patience (played by Master P). When Frank was younger, he told Dorian that he somehow allowed his younger brother, Bernie (played by Bernie Mac) to talk him into stealing a car; which led to him working in an auto shop changing tires.

Name: Cole Brown
Played By: Anthony Payne II
Show: Martin

Occupation/Career: Jet airplane cleaner at the Detroit Metropolitan Airport

Character Description: Dimwitted, but well-meaning and known for his eclectic taste in headgear

Cole Brown, who is, along with Tommy Strawn (Thomas Mikal Ford), is one of Martin's two best friends from childhood, is a main character who appears on Martin. The part of Cole is played on the series by Carl Anthony Payne II.

About Cole:

Dimwitted, but well-meaning and known for his eclectic taste in headgear, Cole proudly cleans jet airplanes at the airport for a living, drives an AMC Pacer, and lives with his mother Maddie Brown, until early Season 5. For a time in Season 3, Cole appeared to be attracted strictly to plus-sized women and dated a security guard named Big Shirley (who is fully seen in only one episode; another episode only showed "her" below the neck to portray her as being a quite large woman, who's much taller and bigger than Cole, and even taller and larger than Tommy, who stands about '6'4"). In the final season, after Cole meets a cute girl named Shanise McGullicuddy (Maura McDade), whom he began dating in the episode "Snow White" early on in Season 5 (episode #8)and moves into his own apartment in a rough neighborhood, he dates Shanise, who appears to be even more dimwitted than he is.

In the Season 1 episode "Baby It's Cole'd Here" ( #10), Cole and Martin's friendship is put to the test as Cole, after an argument with his overbearing mother Maddie Brown (Miss Laura Hayes) in which she kicks him out and he's forced to temporarily stay with Martin, who tries to get him to stand wp to his mom, as he also tries to get him out of his place by getting Cole reconcile with his mother so she could invite him to move back home with her.

Martin and Cole's relationship is also severely tried in the Season 3 episode "C.R.E.A.M." ( #22), when Martin and Gina, on a whim, after they recently received a windfall, a $4,000 tax refund from the IRS, decide to invest their money in a opening a restaurant (Cole had a dumb suggestion: serve the patrons free soup, and, as was his idea for the eatery's name, was "Rent 'em Spoons!") which they named "Marty Mart's Meat Loaf & Waffles".

Anyway, the business, which seemed to be doing quite well, as the place was packed with customers, and they were running out of food to serve (and Pam was pulling in big tips from the customers, turned out to be a colossal failure, as Cole, (who also was the frycook) who was responsible for printing the flyers for the eatery's opening, made a mistake in having the flyers include redeemable coupons which offered "5 for 1" instead of "2 for 1" meals, which Martin wanted, and which the patrons all were using to pay for their meals with, as a fumingly angry Martin tells Cole "This is just about the dumbest thing you've ever did!".

During the series finale, he becomes engaged to Shanise, as he and Martin's friendship is also put to the test when Martin and Gina were initially not exactly approving of he dating her because of her dimwittedness.

Pamela "Pam" James is a main character on the FOX TV series Martin. The part of Gina is played on the series by Tichina Arnold.

About Pam:

Pam, Gina's sassy, explosive best friend is consistently portrayed as Martin's antagonist. Pam was formally born in 1963 .Initially, Pam worked in a boutique on commission. Pam and Tommy were occasionally flirtatious with each other in the beginning, and this developed into a romantic relationship for a brief time, during the Season 3. Name: Tommy Strawn
Played By: Thomas Mikal Ford
Show: Martin

Occupation/Career: Actual line of work is never mentioned

Character Description: Self-confident and worldly young man whose mysterious employment status is the subject of frequent debate among his friends

Tommy Strawn is a main character who serves as the deuteragonist on the FOX TV series Martin. The part of Tommy is played on the series by actor Thomas Mikal Ford.

About Tommy:

One of Martin's two best friends since childhood, a self-confident and worldly young man whose mysterious employment status is the subject of frequent debate among them all. Regarding Tommy's last name, there is some confusion as to whether it was actually "Strong" or "Strawn" (the former being the most widely assumed).

In the Season 5 episode "World Famous", ( #9, airdate April 3, 1997), Tommy's father, Sgt. Hamilton Strawn (portrayed by John Amos]), comes to visit; he and the gang have drinks at Nipsey's, where Tommy and his father end up competing vigorously for the attentions of an attractive young woman. In this episode Sgt. Strawny is seen, throughout his first scene, wearing military fatigues. In several close-ups during this scene the name "Strawn" is clearly visible on the left breast of his uniform. Tommy's name is also spelled "Strawn" on his basketball jersey in the episode featuring the women's Olympic basketball team.

When his job is brought up people say, "Tommy, you ain't got no job!" This particularly annoys Martin because while Tommy always alludes or refers to himself being employed, he's never clear about the type of job that he has. However, Martin is sometimes cautious because Tommy's line of work is unknown and suspicious. Tommy is the only character (other than Martin) to appear in every episode of the series. In later years they said that Tommy Strawn worked with children. That was his 9-5 job.

Friends:

One of Moesha's longest and closest friendships is with Kimberly Ann 'Kim' Parker. Moesha and Kim have been best friends since preschool. When Moesha and Kim were in 3rd grade they played a practical joke on substitute teacher Mrs. Lecount, who ended up in the emergency room; it's unknown whether she died there or is still alive, although she was mentioned in one episode. Moesha and Kim went to different colleges but managed to stay connected.

Moesha's other childhood friend is Hakeem Campbell. Hakeem was also the Mitchells' frequent houseguest, especially at mealtimes. Moesha and Hakeem were very close and even developed a romantic relationship later on. The other guy Moesha fell for was longtime best friend Hakeem Campbell; they were on/off toward the series' end. When Moesha told Hakeem she broke up with Q, Hakeem was excited. Moesha and Hakeem continued to be a couple until the series' end. In the spin-off "The Parkers," it's revealed that they're no longer dating. Moesha moved out of the house permanently from then. She later forgave him.

Myles Mitchell is known in the sitcom as Moesha's little brother. She has a very playful and funny relationship. They often quarrel and tease each other. Biography:

Nino Brown (1957-1990) was the boss of the Cash Money Brothers gang of Harlem, New York City during the 1980s and early 1990s. Brown started his life of crime as a member of a Harlem gang called L.A. Boyz (standing for Lenox Avenue, not Los Angeles), where he had to kill a stranger as an initiation. He picked a schoolteacher who turned out to be the mother of his future nemesis Scotty Appleton, who became an undercover cop . The CMB took over an entire apartment complex where they manufactured and sold crack co***ne. In a surprising and unlikely move, Brown was able to take out an entire Mafia crew without being killed in retaliation . In a dramatic end, Brown was arrested by Appleton, but managed to get away with a suspended sentence after turning states. Brown's smug celebration was put to an abrupt end when he was shot and killed in the courthouse by an old man who was a concerned citizen that Nino had previously humiliated, and his co**se then fell down a winding staircase.

Rise Of The CMB:

Brown would later become the leader of the Cash Money Brothers (CMB) gang, and it rose to be the dominant drug ring in the city after crack co***ne was introduced to the gang by gang member Gee Money. Brown's gang took over the Carter Apartments as a crack den, evicting the tenants and the landlord (who was sent out naked) after killing Fat Smitty. Brown's gang brought in a million dollars a week through the sale of crack in the city, and Nino and his gang members wore fancy suits, bought new jewelry, got new haircuts, and frequented the Spotlite nightclub. Brown made the wealthy Selina Thomas his girlfriend, but she became jealous when he began a relationship with Gee Money's girlfriend Uniqua.

Police Infiltration:

By 1990, Brown was the undisputed boss of Harlem, even having policemen on his payroll. Brown began to stand up to the American Mafia boss Don Armeteo, who he used to give 10% of his profits; however, Brown began to renege on this agreement after making it big, angering the Mafia. Armeteo responded by having Frankie Needles give him a statuette of a black man hanging himself, leading to Brown beating Needles, cutting off his ponytail, and becoming rivals with the Mafia. Eventually, Armeteo decided to move against Brown.

At the same time, the NYPD began to investigate Brown's activities. Mario Stone recruited Scotty Appleton and Nick Peretti to find evidence about Brown's involvement in drug trafficking. Appleton enlisted the help of former stickup kid and crack ju**ie Pookie Robinson, who infiltrated the gang. Robinson was compromised after sneaking drugs, with Kareem Akbar discovering that he was wired. Robinson was murdered, but the police assaulted the Carter Apartments and forced the drug gang out of the complex. Appleton and Peretti, now without an informant, decided to go undercover to infiltrate the gang. After bribing Frankie Needles, they were put in touch with Gee Money, who thought that they were drug dealers. Under the alias "Mr. Washington", Appleton befriended Brown, saving him from a gun-toting old man who had earlier warned the police about Brown's destructiveness.

Downfall:

Later, Brown and the CMB hosted a wedding presided over by Reverend Oates, who was a friend of Brown. At that wedding, Appleton planned to kill Brown, while Peretti snuck into Brown's mansion to collect evidence. The wedding was shot up by Armeteo's mobsters, who killed CMB member Keisha Williams. Selina condemned Brown for his murderous activities, so Brown threw her out and later killed Armeteo and his crew from a speeding motorcycle.

Stone, Appleton, and Peretti then arranged a sting operation to nab Brown. Akbar, who knew that Appleton and the late Pookie Robinson were connected, revealed Brown's true identity, and a shootout ensued, with the Duh Duh Duh Man being killed. That night, Brown confronted Gee Money, who accused Brown of egotism; Brown regretfully killed him. With his gang destroyed, Brown continued to run his criminal empire solo from his apartment, and Appleton and Peretti assaulted the complex. Appleton severely beat Brown, as he knew that Brown had killed his mother in his gang initiation.

Death:

Brown was then taken into custody, but he pled guilty to a lesser charge at his trial, claimed that he was forced to help the gang through threats, and identified Akbar as the leader. When Brown was sentenced to one year in prison, Appleton was outraged. However, justice would soon be delivered. As Brown spoke with reporters outside of the courtroom, he was shot by the old man, who confronted him for one last time before blasting him in the chest. Brown fell over the balcony to his death, putting an end to the cruel gangster.
