The San Diego homelessness emergency continues spiraling out of control with the number of homeless in downtown breaking a new record for the fifth month in a row. More shelter beds are desperately needed. Tourism is being negatively affected which hurts the arts industry. The other side of the coin is lack of housing and rising cost of living which is pushing artists out of the San Diego region.
