Hey blue crew. Its me. I know we haven't gotten a chance to hang out much lately. That's due in part to the fact that I just haven't had an interest in Animal Crossing for a while now. I've shifted gears a bit and am focusing on playing more than just one game. I also find that the moniker of "AJGaming" just doesn't fit me any more, since it all started from a game I really haven't played lately.

This post will signify the beginning of the end for AJGaming237. I want to change my name, and also focus on streaming different types of games some of which not even including video games. I'll always cherish the fun and the memories we made as the Blue Crew came to be. The word "Blurp!" will always have special meaning for me, and who knows maybe some time in the future I'll start up my island(s) again and see what's what on Tiki Tiki and Coco Loco.

I want to express a truly heartfelt thank you to everyone that's been there, most of you from day one. I'll always be grateful for your support and enthusiasm that you brought to the streams.

I've been streaming frequently on twitch, so if you'd like to keep in touch or watch some of my streams there I'd love to have you all. If you follow me there once I change my name it will still reflect on your follower list etc.

Hey Blue Crew!! I got some good news!!

I will be streaming tonight! I'm not sure what time, because I'm still hooking up my streaming gear in my room, but I am planning to test everything out a bit later on. It probably won't be a long stream, unless a villager wants to go, and if I wanna let them go we'll do a villager hunt, but it might just be a simple stream - but either way I hope to see you all there tonight!! Watch for that notification! :-)

ALSO - we're gonna talk about the Disney name-that-tune contest, the fashion show, and my move to twitch!

Hey Blue Crew!!!

I promise I haven’t forgotten about you all!!

I wanted to post a quick update. My bedroom is coming along really nicely and I’ve got my desk set up! Next is setting up the streaming stuff, and I’m hoping to do a test stream some time in the next few days. It’s been a while since I’ve logged on so I’m sure my villagers miss me, but not as much as I miss all of you!

In other news:

I’m going to be transitioning away from Facebook gaming as my primary platform and focusing on twitch. I’ve found that twitch is a more established platform and there is a greater chance of getting more followers there. I am extremely grateful to all of you that have been a part of the journey thus far.

I’ll still be doing a few more Facebook live streams especially once I get my streaming stuff set up, and I’ll address the switchover more during my next stream.

Hey Blue Crew!

I know it's been a bit since you've seen me live, and I definitely do miss streaming with all of you. This little break from streaming has definitely been great for me in every way. I wanted to give you all an update.

I'll be streaming again soon, but not until I get my room straightened up and can set up my streaming gear there more permanently. I'm streaming other games on twitch, so please follow me there if you haven't already - twitch.tv/ajgaming237

I'll definitely make sure everyone's notified when I'll be returning to Animal Crossing streams - optimistically I'm hoping for as early as next week, but just depends how much cleaning and organizing I can get done, both which I'm terrible at. :)

Hey Blue Crew! Hope everyone had a great weekend and great Monday. I’m going to go live in about 20 minutes or so with something a bit different. I’ll give you a hint... it’s not Animal Crossing. 🙂 hope to see you there!

I’m also going to have a bit of an update on what I’m thinking about for the future of the channel, and long term plans, so if you’re interested in that be sure to tune in! Around 910pm or so central time. Got to set up the Janky-2000 ultimate stream setup... 😂

Hey Blue Crew! Going to try something a little different tonight!! I’m going to go live after I grab some dinner, and then host the 1st ever Name That Tune trivia night.

The gameplay would go like this:

I’d play a snippet of a song, and everyone write it down on a sticky note or somewhere on your computer or phone, but NOT IN CHAT 🙂

Then once we get through every song on my list, I’ll go back through and play the snippets again, then you can all put in chat what you think it is!

This is definitely even more fun if you’re on discord voice chat!

At the end of each round (3 in total) I’ll tally up the correct answers and determine a winner. That winner can choose one of the following prizes:

- I visit their island during a live stream.
- 10 Nook Mile Tickets and 100,000 bells
- An Amiibo of your choice

Note on Amiibos: I am behind on getting them shipped out and I apologize. Life has been crazy lately so I’ve put those on the back burner. However I intend to make good on sending them out this weekend. Please bear with me, but I promise I will he sending them out! 🙂
