Its not a fairy door but a cat door.... now when I have my door closed to block out the loud TV in the next room while working (mother who's hard of hearing), my cats can come and go without me having to open and close the door e ery five minutes.

Whenever you shop, do you check reviews to see who has the most or best reviews?

I know that I do when looking to try out a new restaurant or when I'm buying something on Amazon.

If you and I are doing it, then your customers and clients are likely doing it, too!

Reviews are important! The data shows most will consider a good review (91%) to be as good as if a friend referred them!

When the holidays are right around the corner, you always want every little bit of edge you can get to increase your sales and win new customers.

Easy-to-use automation from Ready Set Go Digital, Inc. helps you gain more reviews that are not only beneficial to your business but also increase your Google™ rankings.

Google™ likes it when you are engaging with your clients and collecting star ratings!

We have free 14-day trials if you would like to get started! Call me today if you want to boost your reviews and ROI! I'd be happy to show you the platform, or I can simply set it up for you.

Over the past year many have had to switch gears into the virtual world. Some didn't skip a beat, some it took a bit to find their groove and other's just went into hiding.
Now that the doors are opening, and we are starting to see more live in person events pop up again, you'd think people would ditch the virtual events.
However, it's been quite the opposite, for some the virtual world has expanded their audience. And people are now even a bit savvy at doing live online presentations.
Clients have also embraced the convivence of online learning, or enjoy having that "replay" they might not get attending a live event. The market for virtual events and learning isn't going away it's only growing. (source Amazon News)

Here are some great tips for creating a successful, memorable and profitable online event:

If you're not used to giving an online live event start by creating a informational vlog about your business. Or start a podcast and build a following. You can use tools like YouTube and Zoom to record a few videos for practice.

Create a plan of action, a short script or outline to follow to keep you on track. Make sure your tech is working, along with lighting and sound. I have seen way to many videos of people sitting in the dark or you can barely hear what they are saying. You don't have to break the bank to get small clip on microphone.

When looking at the tech you are using know it's pros and cons to decide if it's the best choice. There might be occasions where one platform will work fine but in another circumstance (like an interview) it could become a technical log jam. Although I've used zoom numerous times, I stumble a bit when handing over the meeting to someone else on the call. It's always good to know how it works and how to change screens, and or presentation to someone else ahead of time.

Marketing yourself and your event. If you don't have a following right off the bat, perhaps hit a group you belong too (with permission) to promote it, send out and email invite with the link. And as you progress in your following you can promote it even further using paid advertising. Of course having a good marketing team in your corner will give you that extra advantage in reaching your target market.

And Lastly, its always important to get feed back. Any feedback is great because it will help you to refine and grow. Your attendees will let you know what they want to learn, what is working and not working. It's pretty easy to send out a quick custom survey after an event. Let the class know at the end of your event that you would appreciate any insight they might have to get a better response. Having a survey helps with engagement and is another way to connect with your audience.

When it comes to simple design work, one of my favorite tools is Canva.
No fuss no Muss!
I actually have the Adobe Suite for my more technical projects, but when I want to designing a quick cover banner or IG post, Canva is my go-to application.
Even the free version is very workable for simple projects.

Take a peek Here: https://www.canva.com/join/bzf-xbr-yzy

If you ever need to create a graphic/poster/invitation/logo/presentation or anything that looks good -- give Canva a go!

When do you need two Pixels?

Usually when looking at a website to see if it is pixeled properly I will look to see if there is one pixel on the page and maybe more than one pixel event.
If I see two pixels sometimes it can be a sign that there is a problem. 😳 😟
Other times there are people who will season two pixels at the same time to have one for "back up".

But really the only time you would really need two pixels is when you might have two websites selling two different things that are not related.

Having a pixel on your page allows for Facebook™ to learn your audience. 🧐
It can determine who's been to your page, and also if you use the various event pixels, can tell who has set an appointment (essentially becoming a lead) or made a purchase. Once your pixel becomes seasoned, you can then use this data to make a Look-a-Like audience. 😊 😊
This allows you to direct your ad, to people who are similar to the ones who have engaged with your page. 🥳

Have you Googled yourself lately?

It's always good practice to Google™ yourself to see not only what pops up but where it pops up in the list of Google™ page rankings.
What is first on the list?
Is it your Facebook™ site, Instagram™ or is it LinkedIn™ or Twitter™?

If this is what you see when you Google™ yourself, most likely its what your client sees if they Google™ you.

Depending on what shows up first on the list, you should spend some time cleaning it up and making sure it's in line and consistent with your branding.

For me, my LinkedIn™ profile pops up first. So it's important to have that page inline with my business.

Here is a snapshot of my LinkedIn™ page while I was in "incognito" mode in Google Chrome™.
I made a point to put in a custom banner, created in Canva and added a symbol to my name to give it a little extra pop. I also capitalized the first description line next to my name. (a few nifty tricks to help your profile stand out)

Is your email to a client going to a spam folder? 😟👮‍♂️📩
Here's something you can do to help with that.
Depending on your email server you can add three TXT records to the DNS records to help your email get past the spam bots.
Here are three protocols to use:
1. SPF
2. DKIM
3. DMARC
Depending on your email server you can add three TXT records to the DNS records to help your email get past the spambots.

You can test your email at this nice little "free" test site. 😀👍
https://www.mail-tester.com/
Simply take the email address they generate and send an email to it and then hit the button.
They will give you a review of your email and also some suggestion to improve the chances for it to land in the Inbox.

What does a Boutique Ad Agency mean to you❓

How about “a small company that offers highly specialized services with a personal touch”. 👍😉💮

And what does that exactly mean❓

How about being able to have a solid working relationship with the person you are doing business with 💖
