This is a new format where we will be exploring controversial, innovative, and often spicy moto-related topics!

For this episode, we cover five big questions - 

Should Vince Friese be permanently banned from racing? 

Will the emergence of electric motorcycles result in a "Dark Age" for MX?

Should ProMX award points down to 40th place?

Should voice comms or a bar mounted light system be utilised in MX and SX?

Could Austin Forkner's injuries at Arlington SX have been avoided? 

Joining me in the Moto Asylum to go deep, deep, deep are former team-manager and long-time moto journalist Stephen Tuff,  moto sales-executive and veteran racer Dean Mosig, and Pro MX2 racer Zane Mackintosh.

The "Going Off Track" format is all about promoting open dialogue and having a few laughs along the way. And while we may not be able to solve all of the world’s problems, just maybe we can come up with some ideas that get people talking, and possibly even result in positive changes to the sport!

The AMX Open Review Podcast is now LIVE on all good podcast platforms!

The is one of my favourite events of the year, as it gives us the very first glimpse of what we might expect once the impending ProMX season kicks off. With some riders moving up classes, others returning from injury, and multiple contenders changing teams and bikes, it's always exciting to see how the weekend plays out. 

Joining me in studio for the AMX Open Review show, to talk about everything that went down, is MX2 racer and friend of the show, . We also get , and ,who both raced in the MX1 class at the Open, on the blower to hear their thoughts about the weekend's racing.

Calling in all the way from South Oz for our first podcast of 2024 is , one of the most popular and respected privateers in Australia.

A bit of a podcasting veteran himself, there's no "dead air" as we delve into a range of big topics, including the challenges of "making it" in the Australian MX scene, what it was like for Elijah to be a part of the official 2023 AUSX media program, coaching for the renowned Oates MX Rider Development Program, the competitive world of moto-media, and some of the amazing filming projects he has recently had the opportunity to take part in.

We also discuss Elijah's career to date, including his (somewhat rough) 2023 season, and his plans moving forward, both on and off the track.

The sun was out, and the riders were stylin’ it up during another epic day at .ridefarm today!

With a range of tracks to suit motocross enthusiasts of all ages and abilities, as well as a plethora of downhill flow tracks (with a shuttle back to the top!) and a full cross-country loop for mountain bikers, PBI Ride Farm has something for everyone when it comes to off-road fun on two wheels, boasting some of the best ride park facilities in Victoria.

EP20: Inside the Helmet with Chandler Burns, is now LIVE on all good podcast platforms.

At just 23 years of age, Chandler is almost a bit of a veteran of the MX2 and SX2 class, and you only need to watch him on a dirt bike for a couple of minutes to realise just how talented he is.

If Chandler is able to stay healthy and gain some momentum throughout 2024, I honestly think he has the potential to be right up there banging bars with the very best riders in the MX2 and SX2 class.

EP19: Inside the Helmet with JEREMY WATERS is now LIVE on all good podcast platforms!

Our guest for this episode – – is one of the newly announced Riders on the Mental4Moto Rider Support Program for 2024.

This year, Jeremy had his first taste of racing at a professional level, entering one round of the ProMX Championship in Maitland in the MX2 class, and racing two rounds of the Australian Supercross Championship in Adelaide and Newcastle in the SX1 class, which is where I first met him in person.

Speaking to Jeremy in the pits, I couldn’t help but like the dude – he is the true definition of a privateer, and you only need to chat to him for about 2 minutes to realise that more than anything else, he just loves to race his dirtbike.

The 2024 MX/SX Calendars are now at the printers! Might have bitten off more than I could chew with the amount of work that has gone into these, but stoked with the finished design, and have managed to squeeze in all 20 riders on the program into the finished product!!

It was a close battle between the leading three for the cover shot. Congrats to who clinched it with the most sales to date!

The last couple of weeks have been hectic trying to round up support, and I'd like to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to all of the legends who have stepped up to the plate, either by sponsoring a page in the calendar or by donating product to help drive sales (or in some cases both!), and also to those who have offered to put packages together to help the riders on the program! EP18: AUSSIE SX RECAP Ft. Dylan Wills & Mick Sinclair is now LIVE on all good podcast platforms.

The 2023 Aussie Supercross Championship is in the bag, and what a season it has been! In this episode, we catch up with Mick Sinclair to talk about how it went from the promoter's perspective, and find out what AME might have in store for us for 2024.

We also get Dylan Wills on the line to chat about THAT PASS on Vince Friese and the response he's had since! On top of that, we break down each round of the Aussie Supercross Championship and what it was like for Willsy racing as a WSX wildcard at Marvel Stadium against some of the best riders from around the world. What was planned to be a short 15 minute interview ended up blowing out to 40 minutes of awesome moto content and one of my favourite interviews so far. This is definitely an episode you don't want to miss out on!
