JUST IN: Lagos Doctor Bags Life Imprisonment For R**e

The Lagos State Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence sitting in Ikeja on Tuesday sentenced the Medical Director of Optimal Cancer Care Foundation, Doctor Olufemi Olaleye, to life imprisonment for the defilement of his wife’s niece.

Olaleye was arraigned on two counts which bordered on defilement and s*xual assault by pe*******on of his wife’s niece, preferred against him by the Lagos State Government.

Justice Rahman Oshodi sentenced him after he found him guilty of the offence of defilement and s*xual pe*******on of a 15-year-old girl.

The judge held that the prosecution was able to prove its case beyond reasonable doubt and that all the evidence before the court corroborated that of the victim.

Olaleye was accused of unlawfully having s*xual in*******se with his wife’s 15-year-old niece. He was also accused of s*xually assaulting the teenager by penetrating her mouth with his pen!s.

During the trial, the convict’s wife, Aderemi Olaleye, told the court that her husband had been s*xually abusing her niece during her stay with them.

She also testified that the convict first introduced po*******hy and oral s*x to the victim, and he released s***m into her mouth, stating that it started from March 2020 to July 2021.

The witness narrated to Justice Oshodi that the girl confessed to a relative and their driver that the doctor had been sleeping with her and threatened to kill her and the witness if she told anyone.

The mother of two, who is the complainant, said on oath, “My lord, on November 27, 2021, my second cousin told my aunty, who is my mother’s sister, that since March 2020, Femi has been s*xually abusing her and introduced her to po*******hy; from there, he graduated to oral s*x with her, and that he does this in different places in the home where there are no cameras.”

Nollywood actress Patience Ozokwo has revealed why she refused to remarry after the death of her husband years ago.

The actress made this known on Thursday during her chat with colleague Mercy Johnson on her weekly edition of her cook show, Mercy’s Menu.

Ozokwor said, “I wanted to remarry but my kids had already come of age and they pleaded with me not to marry another man and they promised they would be my husband.

“They asked me to stay single for them so their friends will not laugh at them that at their age their mum remarried and I understood them. Though it was selfish of them, but I paid the huge sacrifice for them, no sacrifice is too huge for family.”

⚠️Man who pretends as a delivery man to harvest brainbox and other vehicle parts arrested in Lagos

Men of the Lagos state police command have arrested a 27-year-old man, Ogbonna Eze, who allegedly disguises as a dispatch rider to steal car parts. Parading the suspect before newsmen on Tuesday, October 17, the spokesperson of the command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, said on September 18, 2023, the command received reports that the suspect disguised himself as a dispatch rider to vandalize vehicles by removing brain boxes and other parts.

The police immediately swung into action and apprehended the suspect.

In a related development, the police on October 10, 2023, at about 0130hrs, based on credible intelligence, apprehended a group of boys in military uniform who invaded a motor park in Surulere and were stealing brain boxes. Hundeyin said operatives of the Command stormed the scene and arrested one Kelechi Ofo ‘m’ aged 30 with three brain boxes while others fled upon sighting the police.

Hundeyin also mentioned that on October 15, 2023, operatives of the Command arrested one Izuchukwu Madu ‘m’ aged 39, Chidozie Ilekoroneje ‘m’ aged 34, Alabi Sodiq ‘m’ aged 40, Hycient Ikechukwu ‘m’ aged 40 and Felix Asogba ‘m’ aged 27 who according to him are responsible for stealing a Cherokee jeep, disassembling it and selling its part at a local spare part market.

DEPRAVED INDIFFERENCE: Woman arrested for bathing her husband in hot groundnut oil in his sl££p over a disagreement in Rivers State

A woman identified as Hope Nwala has been arrested after allegedly bathing her husband, Ekelediri Nwankwo Nwala with a hot groundnut oil over a minor disagreement.

It is reported that the incident happened at Okehi community in Etche Local government Area of Rivers State. According to reports, Mrs Hope Nwala poured the hot groundnut oil on her husband while he was asleep. She was also said to have h him with a hammer before sc@lding him with hot oil.

It was gathered that the couple had been having some domestic squabbles before the tragic incident. The victim, Mr. Nwankwo, who is still battling for life said he told his wife’s younger sister to leave their house for dressing indecently, which his wife refused. He added that while he went to sleep his wife att him and bathed him with hot oil.

“I had told my wife’s younger sister to leave my house because of the way she was dressed, and the way she occupies my matrimonial bed even when I am around. No young guy will tolerate such behaviour, but my wife has refused the younger sister to leave the house.

I also saw my wife alone with one tall black guy in the shop I rented for her, not that he was there for business, he followed my wife and sister here and there, with all these, I gave that her younger sister two thousand naira transport to go home so that I can actually understand what is going on in my house, but my wife got upset, while I went to bed to sleep, she used po¥red hot groundnut oil on me, then start h me with a harmer,” he said.

19-year-old boy beats his stepbrother to stupor and buries him alive for allegedly stealing N1000 in Kogi

Kogi State Command has arrested Goodness Oshodi, a 19 year-old boy who allegedly buried his step-brother, Friday Oshhodi, for stealing N1000.

The incident happened Tuesday evening October 10, 2023, at Apamisede Community, in Adavi Local Government Area of the state.

The victim was however lucky to have been rescued by neighbours.

According to eyewitness accounts, Goodness' mother had directed him to punish Friday for stealing her N1000.

It was gathered that Goodness beat Friday to stupor before buried him alive.

Speaking on why decided to bury his brother alive, Goodness said he was only carrying out the instructions of their mother who asked him to punish his brother for stealing her N1000 and tried to run away with it as he normally does.

According to him, the mother, who instructed him to punish Friday, was away to church when he buried him alive.

Spokesperson of the command, SP William Aya, who confirmed the incident, said the boy has been arrested and undergoing interrogation.

“Yes, we are aware. The boy has been arrested, investigation is ongoing as to why and how such a thing could happen,” the PPRO added.

"I am leaving the church any moment from now" ~ Rev. Fr Obayi Paul explodes

The spiritual director of the Okunerere Adoration Ministry, Nsukka, Rev. Fr (Prof.) Paul Obayi popularly called Fr Okunerere has reeled out accusations against his bishop, the Catholic bishop of Nsukka Diocese, Bishop Godfrey I. Onah. The spiritual priest revealed that the church has been oppressing him. The latest oppression came as the bishop and other fellow priests want to take away his land by force.

Here are some of the things Okunerere said in the about 30 minutes video.

"The church is my vineyard, I love the church, I love my Nsukka (Catholic) church, I love the bishop, I love the priests, I love them, but they are oppressing me.

"I was looking for a land where I will conduct my adoration but couldn't find. I rented a place behind Queens College Nsukka and started my adoration there. Bishop Onah chased me out of the place, saying I was causing noise and distracting the Students of Queens.

"The past governor of Enugu State, Gburugburu gave me this piece of land I'm staying in now. I told the bishop that I have a land and I took him there to see the land. When he came, he then said that the land is fine to be used to build the Marian Shrine. I told him it's my adoration ministry I want to start here and not Marian Shrine. He said I shouldn't talk about it again. It is the same land that the bishop gave out to the church without consulting me, without any discussion.

"I give everything to the church, yet the church wants to strangle me to death. But it can't happen!

"I bought and installed the best transformer in the cathedral of Nsukka Diocese which they're using till today.

"Bishop Onah mandated me to build a museum where I would keep the deities I remove from villages. I spent 2.8m to build the museum upstairs inside the cathedral and reported to my bishop. The only 'thank you' I got from my bishop was that he asked me where did I get the money to build it when he has banned
