‏کسان برباد ہو چکا..! بجلی کا ریٹ دگنا کر دیا، ڈیزل 259 روپے لیٹر کر دیا، کھاد پہ ٹیکس 2 فیصد سے بڑھا کر 10 فیصد کر دیا.. لوگ ٹھیکے پر لی گئی زمین چھوڑ کر بھاگ رہے ہیں.
تجربہ کار حکومت نے ہنستا بستا ملک آگ میں جھونک دیا گیا.
لیکن اب ووٹ کس کو دہن..............

The government has banned the import of non-essential and luxury items to stabilize the fast depleting foreign exchange reserves and rising import bill, as part of measures that a minister claimed would save $6 billion.

The announcement was made by Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb at a news conference in Islamabad on Thursday.

Severe temperature variation from March 11 to March 17 from 37 degrees centigrade to 42 degrees centigrade, contrary to 34 degrees centigrade routine temperature in previous years, affected the mango fruit to a greater extent, said the Director of the Mango Research Institute (MRI), Abdul Ghaffar Garewal, in Multan on Sunday.

Similarly, the temperature in April also remained high compared to the ones in previous years, and it also aggravated problems for the growers.

Abdul Ghaffar said that the mango production was affected by nearly 60 percent as the flowering stage could not bear the severity of the weather.

Besides climate changes, some other factors also damaged mango production. He stated that growers could not irrigate mango orchards at the time of fruiting due to shortage of canal water, electricity loadshedding and diesel shortage.

نہیں اصل میں امارت کی نشانی دوپٹہ ہے. لیکن ہم اس کے تقدس کو بھول چکے.
اور آہستہ آہستہ یہ غربت کی نشانی لگنے لگا. میں نے کئی بار اپنی خوبصورت ترین عزیزاؤں کو دلھن بنی دیکھا، لیکن وہ خوبصورت ترین بہنیں مصنوعی پاؤڈر تھاپ کر عجیب ڈراؤنی سے لگتی رہتی ہیں. اور یہ سب نقل ہے. انگریز پاکستان میں برسوں رہتے ہیں اپنا لباس اور طریقہ کار نہیں بدلتے. ہم 1 ماہ انگریزوں میں رہیں 50 پرسنٹ انگریز بن جاتے ہیں. دوپٹہ غربت کی نشانی نہیں، دوپٹہ اسلامی دنیا کی بیٹیوں کا رسمی نہیں مزہبی لباس ہے. لیکن آجکل اس کو غربت کی علامت سمجھتے ہیں. اور یہ ہماری سوچ کی غریبی ہے.
لباس سے ہی انسان کی خوبصورتی ہے، اگر کوئی خوبصورت ترین مرد نکر اور بنیان پہن کر چلے تو اس کو دیکھنے والے شرماتے ہیں، جبکہ ایک کالا کلوٹا مرد شلوار قمیض سر پر کیپ پہنے چلتا رہے تو اس کی پرسنیلٹی قابل دید ہوتی ہے. ایک سیاہ رنگ کی کمزور یا بد نما جسم والی عورت جب عبایہ پہن کر سر پر دوپٹہ پہنے ہمارے سامنے سے گزرے تو اس کی پرسنیلٹی پر رشک آتا ہے. خوبصورت عورتوں پر عبایہ اور دوپٹہ "سونے پر سہاگہ" کے مترادف ہے.

Stopped by the New York Times propaganda office today 🖕

The New York Times receives gag orders from the state of Israel about what it can and cannot publish about the occupation. The New York Times Jerusalem bureau building is housed on ethnically cleansed Palestinian land. The New York Times Jerusalem correspondent's family have all served in the Israeli army.

The foreign affairs coverage is produced by many national security spooks that are trained and funded by think tanks funded by weapons manufacturers like Raytheon and Lockheed Martin and even NATO.

The New York Times is the paper of cold war propaganda that enables Western colonialism and imperialism.

For the record, I was flicking off the New York Times in this picture but it wasn't clear and so I wanted to make sure it was absolutely clear 😌

Massacre at Qissa Khwani Bazaar, April 23, 1930

April 23, 1930 marks a dark day in the history of the Indian Independence movement. It was the day when hundreds of peaceful protestors lost their lives at the hands of the British colonial regime in Qissa Khwani Bazaar, Peshawar.

Gandhi’s civil disobedience movement against the British Indian government was also launched in the North-West Frontier Province, in 1930. The demand was complete independence. The Congress sought help from Abdul Ghaffar Khan or Bacha Khan of the Khudai Khidmatgars (1890-1988).

The day chosen to start the movement was April 23. By the morning, many leaders were arrested and taken to Kabuli Thana and as news spread people started gathering in front of the Congress office, according to a paper on the events of that day published by Sayed Wiqar Ali Shah of the University of Heidelberg’s South Asia Institute.

They started to head to the thana but when they reached there an armoured car came running at great speed into the crowd without any prior alarm. Up to 14 people were crushed dead. This was the first of the four armoured cars called by Sir H. Aubrey Metcalf (1883-1957), the deputy commissioner. (He had been posted as counsellor, Legation in Afghanistan just prior to this from 1924-1925.)

He sent an SOS to Peshawar cantonment. Someone set the armoured car ablaze and soldiers opened fire on the demonstrators. The firing in Qissa Khwani Bazaar lasted till 3pm. That day is regarded as a milestone in the freedom struggle and is referred to as ‘San Tees Shaheedan’ (Martyrs of Nineteen Thirty).

The colonial administration provided a false figure of 40 people killed and as many injured. Closer estimates are 230 killed and more than 500 injured.
