I never got around to posting this video yesterday but just sharing my quick easy trick to try next time you’re making hard boiled eggs with fresh eggs! As you can see this house is full of distractions and sometimes the husband is worse than the kids 😂 #homestead #eggs

We watch TV…we really do. But I prefer not to make habits of it. I don’t want it to be expected at certain times. I use the TV when I need a minute to get things done, just like every other parent does. There are days when they spend too much time watching it. But we also can easily go days, even weeks (usually in the summer time) without turning it on and the kids don’t know the difference. Just like sometimes you get a sweet treat after dinner, sometimes I let them enjoy their favorite shows! I even bribe them with TV if they can pick up all their toys as quickly as possible 😂 But 9 times out of 10 you’ll walk into our house and wonder if we’ve been robbed because our house is trashed with toys and forts and random crafting creations. And if it bothers you then you probably don’t want to come over and join me for a cup of coffee, but if you thrive on chaos, please come join us…I’ve always got hot coffee and fresh cream 😉 it’s the only way you’ll survive here!
