NEW RELEASE ALERT: Composer-Oboist Alyssa Morris has released her second CD on MSR Classics, this one entitled "Ruminations". This album, like her first, "A Higher Place", consists of tuneful, clever and endlessly rewarding chamber music for oboe in combination with English horn, flute, piano and percussion. One piece is adorned with a second oboe! Her music is composed with the head and hands in mind, reconciled and amplified by the heart. By the way, can anyone site the source of my last comment? A recital production by Bryan Pinkall for the Friends of the K-State Libraries Hale Library Concert Series. Originally scheduled to be performed in the spring of 2020, the concert will now be available online beginning this Veterans Day.

Had a great time (socially distantly) recording "Wintersong" with The Kansas City Chorale. Enjoy some beautiful music and have a safe a happy holiday season!

The Kansas City Chorale performs four concert series each year in October, December, March, and May with special events like Wintersong, Spring Song, and a Chorale Family Christmas.

Glad to be a part of this special project!

Commission --> world premiere --> recording session --> done!! Marie Mencher (MM Trumpet Performance) just completed this extensive year-long project for a new trumpet solo titled Light Form by Melody Etövös.
