Maisie’s Suggestible: If you’re feeling a bit down or a bit stuck then I find a helpful thing to do is you find your local ‘paint your own pottery’ place and get down there. Even if you aren’t particularly artistic (I certainly am not as I just put checkerboard on everything) there is something very therapeutic about painting pottery.
Get a couple of ideas together beforehand but just go with the flow and see what you come out with, don’t pressure yourself into making a great art, just focus on how it feels and then you’ve got something handy for around house after. If that really doesn’t sound your thing though, you can achieve the same therapeutic effect through baking. It’s all about making something and losing yourself in it, it’s just a bonus if it turns okay and you can eat it after!

Maisie’s Suggestible: Oxventure (or some might from Outside Xbox and Outside Xtra) has just wrapped up their series of deadlands, a role playing game similar to dungeons and dragons but it’s main difference is it’s set in the Weird West. I think this is really accessible as well as super entertaining for those who maybe don’t know much about these kind of games or not watch anything like this before.
I think it also contains some of the strongest performances from players and Andy does a fantastic job as his role as the games marshal, with everyone’s character work, storytelling and world building being at its best quality while staying really fun and easy to follow.

Maisie’s Suggestible: Great British Bake Off is back! And I know this feels like an obvious one but I’ll throw in an extra at the end. Every time it rolls around I think I won’t be bothered to watch it again, that I won’t like the new contestants as much, or that the format has been the same for so long but every time it wins me over again straight away. There’s just a charm to the show that brings a sense of wholesomeness to my mornings (the best time to watch it if you ask me) and it’s nice to be watching something where the stakes aren’t so high and everyone gets along.
For fans of the show, the musical is surprisingly really good. It keeps all the charms of the show featuring all the tropes and iconic moments you remember, its a really feel-good musical.

It’s a beautiful story about love through hardships and how far people will go for people they love.

Maisie Suggestible: Screw is on channel 4 in the UK and is an amazing prison drama that just released it’s second season and I really hope they get a third. It follows both prison officers and prisoners as they try to rehabilitate their wing, with compelling characters portrayed by an impressive acting team and storylines that keep you hooked!
