It's been a while since I visited Brownstown Head, built 200 years ago, constructed as a navigational aid as was The Metalman on the opposite side of Tramore Bay and Hook Head to the East. The sea was flat calm, plenty of boats on the water and the cliffs were adorned with red clover, I would have liked to stay longer but the place was thick with flies and very uncomfortable, enjoy! 😃

A quick edit of our trip around Coumshingaun earlier, no views of the lake due to fog/cloud and some rain thrown in for good measure :)
I went out for walk out Bilberry way to see how the new greenway link is progressing and a visit to the rusting Red Iron Bridge...
Some of our beautiful scenery along The River Suir Starting at Kilsheelan...
Cheekpoint Pontoon
I went out for a look at the newly installed pontoon in Cheekpoint during the week, what an amazing structure and amenity for the area, it means boats can come and go anytime, whereas before they were stuck in the mud at low water and had to wait for high tide to launch.
Thanks to Waterford Airport and air traffic control granting me permission to fly within controlled airspace.

Both Sides Of The River
We took in some walks on both sides or the river today, starting on the Hurt Hill Walk just outside Cheekpoint and finishing on the Arthurstown to Duncannon walk, great vantage spots with, Cheekpoint, Great Island, Nuke, Buttermilk point, Passage East, Ballyhack, Duncannon, The Blackstairs and Saltee Islands all visible from the lookout at Hurt Hill, and looking back at Waterford from Arthurstown was Passage, Woodstown, Crooke, Creaden and all the way out to the Hook, well worth the trip 🙂
