Bobon, Mati, Davao Oriental is a few kilometers away from Dahican.

Sunset in Mati is never seen better than in the beaches of Bobon. This side of Mati may not be as well known as Dahican but is equally beautiful. We stayed in Bahia Resort and camped in one of their kiosk. Aside from the kiosk, they also have airconditioned rooms. Prices may vary so I will post their link below. This is a secret but not so secret place in Baganga. We travelled to this beauty last 2021 and had an amazing time with our fur baby, Rinoa. It was our second day in Baganga and we can't get enough!

For inquiries about the resort, please visit and message: The Mandaya Bay Resort and Spa on facebook and make sure that you check the address. It should be located in Brgy, Salingcomot, Baganga, Davao Oriental or you might end up somewhere else. hihi.

UPDATE TODAY 01/30/2023: The road going to the resort is now cemented. After a few more renovations, they are now Soft Opening on March 18!

We camped at San Victor Island Retreat and Formation Center with Rinoa, our fur baby. It was a wonderful experience. This has to be one best beaches we've been to and it's 5-6 hours away from Davao City!

Our trip to San Victor Island was a memorable one. It was Rinoa's (our fur baby mixed breed) first time on a long trip. We are lucky enough to experience the place without a lot of crowd so better go there on weekdays.

We found a perfect spot to pitch a tent where the sea is in full view but we are still under the shades of trees.

If you go to Baganga, go and visit this island. Highly recommended!

It has been 6 years since we exchanged vows in the altar and we are going to celebrate our anniversary! We've decided to bring our fur babies with us on a camping trip.

Darrporrt is perfect for couples, friends and families to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. We stayed in their middle station. It is excusive so Levi and Rinoa can run around freely. They have electricity and the area is well lit at night. The middle station has a platform for your tents and a table where you can dine. Bring your cooking and dining utensils with you. A great plus is they have a clean bathroom and a store nearby for your necessities.
