The international journal World Economic Journal (WEJ) was established in 2009 by the World Organization for Development (old name - World Organization of Creditors). This project is aimed at demonstrating economic potential and investment attractiveness of developed and developing countries around the world. The major topics are: trends in wor
ld economy, dynamics of emerging markets, investment opportunities and risks. The WEJ talks about the capacity and potential of developing economies in today’s vibrant world; focuses on new economic alliances and transformation of international markets. By presenting objective and independent views WEJ serves as a useful, reliable and convenient instrument for delivering valuable information on current economic and financial developments globally. World Economic Journal is a monthly publication. The journal is published in two languages - English and Russian. In the future it will have Chinese, German, French and Spanish versions. Magazine readers are States officials, diplomats, economists, financiers, investors, leading academics and public figures – all representing top echelon of decision makers, who influence public opinion, manage corporations, investment funds and analytical think tanks. The content of the magazine is compiled by the International Editorial Board. The Board believes that the best investment opportunities are presented by the emerging markets of Brazil, India, Kazakhstan, China and other countries. Moreover, our experts adhere to the concept of a changing multipolar world while fully recognizing the strength of traditional western economies of the USA and Europe. These opinions rest on rigorous analysis of high-quality, up-to- date and reliable data driven from diverse sources. A team of top level WEJ experts produce monthly ratings on a variety of economic, investment and development topics. WEJ forecasts dynamics of global markets, assess business opportunities and risks with a special focus on social and political trends. One of the strongest celling points of the journal are exclusive interviews with States’ officials, world prominent business leaders and investors, internationally recognized academics and experts. Since 2010 the Research Division of WOD (http://www.wodngo.org/research) publishes in WEJ comparative analytical study on economic and investment performance of varies countries and regions. These reports attract an immense interest on the part of foreign press, international experts and business community which once again proves a growing readers’ demand for divers information, different from what major mainstream media outlets can offer today. Since the inception of the World Economic Journal its circulation varied from 15 to 180 thousand copies per month, with a geographic coverage from US, Canada to some EU countries, Russia, Kazakhstan and other CIS States. The printed English version of the magazine was circulated through major distribution networks in the US, Russia and EU. The electronic version was offered via App Store.
