Our Time Team is back as Nathan and Juliette discuss their first "true" Lost Story with Farewell, Great Macedon. This story was conceived with the intention of being part of Doctor Who's first season. However, writer Moris Fahri was unhappy with the rewrites asked of him, so the serial was never recorded. He did retain the scripts, though, and Big Finish used those to adapt into an audio drama as part of their Lost Stories range. In this episode Nathan and Juliette talk about the story as well as the historical basis for it. Along the way Juliette talks about the charisma of John Dorney's performance as Alexander the Great as well as Ian's wrestling prowess. Nathan talks about the Doctor's theatricality and ponders how they would have pulled off some aspects of this production. They both discuss Alexander's size, misogynistic assumptions, Christianity in the series, and the elements that needed to be rewritten.

We're back from hiatus! This time Nathan and Juliette have something new for you to enjoy over your holiday weekend. In this episode we take a look at the first of our Lost Stories with Farewell, Great Macedon. This episode was written specifically to show off writer, Moris Fahri's, writing skills to the Doctor Who production office. It was received with enough interest that they commissioned him to begin working on a new serial entitled Farewell, Great Macedon. This time we discuss the "enhanced audiobook" format of the range, aging voices, the stories' themes, character impressions in early season one, and downbeat endings. Give it a listen and let us know what you think!

Travel with Nathan and Juliette as they head over to ancient China (Cathay) in the latest episode of Timestreams! This is the first of the "missing stories" in Doctor Who, and they talk about how they're still able to experience the story despite that fact. Nathan wonders why Susan suddenly became a beatnik while Juliette talks about how sweet her relationship with Ping-Cho is. Juliette questions why the TARDIS breaks every story while Nathan discusses that Ian and the Doctor take a backseat to guest star, Marco Polo. Juliette wonders why no one can see how evil Tegana sounds and Nathan talks about how inspired his dialog is. Juliette gets upset that no one listens to Barbara and Nathan defends the plot. They wrap up discussing the issues with reconstructions and they discuss listening to the final three episodes next time.

Nathan takes the opportunity to defend Susan while Juliette finds herself incapable of defending Thal fashion. Dalek origins are discussed and Juliette finds Thal fashion hard to believe, since Dyoni is clearly ready to cut someone. Why does the crew notice the warning flashing on the console? How does this all relate to Return to Oz? Find out in the latest episode of Timestreams.
