This fully electric vehicle is equipped with fixed wings, a V-shaped tail, and eight electrically powered propellers as part of its uniquely designed distributed propulsion system. It is designed to carry up to four passengers in zero-emissions flight for multiple applications.

official and its Austrian manufacturing partner have received approval from Austria's civil aviation authority to conduct ongoing flight trials with the EH216 eVTOL. As part of the approval process, the partners conducted an initial EH216 flight test last month at FACC's facilities in St. Martin im Innkreis. “The successful test flight of our autonomous flying taxi in Austrian airspace is the starting signal for a comprehensive test program for EHang 216,” stated Robert Machtlinger, CEO of FACC AG. “We are thus creating the basis for the approval of an innovative, highly flexible and sustainable traffic and transport solution for urban centers.” Read more at eVTOL.com.
