This episode we speak to Maddy, whose son Jasper arrived at 33+5 after a very straightforward pregnancy! Jasper, meaning ‘strength in times of uncertainty’ had a very easygoing stay in NICU that had his parents and the doctors wondering if his dates were correct.

Maddy is wonderful and Jasper is doing so well now!

Trigger warning - this episode discusses infant loss.

Jaime and Hayes, parents of Arthur and Jethro, have had the most heartbreaking risk of MCMA twins happen to them - they lost Arthur in utero.

Jaime talks us through the incredibly high risk pregnancy, the loss of Arthur, and how they dealt with NICU and helping Jethro through it while also grieving and planning a funeral for their infant son.

Jaime is such a strong person and - with some dark humour getting them through - is doing well now considering everything. Jethro is doing amazing too!

My dad passed away a couple months after the twins first birthday and I always have this low lying resentment of the 4.5 weeks he missed out on with them while they were in the NICU. it was during lockdown so he couldn’t even come and meet his first grandchildren 💔

Trigger warning - this episode talks about baby loss.

Rylee, mum to twins Seana and Hazel, shares her journey through twin pregnancy, birth and postpartum where she was let down by her midwife and her obstetrician. She wasn’t listened to and wasn’t taken care of antenatally which, heartbreakingly, resulted in Hazel passing away at just four days old after she suffered a brain injury.
A young mum, Rylee has been through so much but is one of the bravest people I have spoken to and I am in awe of her. She is incredibly strong even when speaking about losing Hazel and her earth side twin, Seana, is lucky to have her as her mama.
