Ibiza crew!!! ......... If you are still wondering what to do tonight do not fear!! Join us at House of WOW to ring in the New Year and dance the night away to the music of Dimitri Nakov (Bedrock, Sprout, Sudbeat), Elkins (Knee Deep In Sound) and our main man, Gustin (Intu Music, The Soundgarden).

As Intu’s first full year draws to a close, we are delighted to announce the final release of the year, ‘Hang Tight’. Our own Gustin and his great friends Around Us, started on this collaboration project over a year ago with a couple of days together in Around Us’ Amsterdam studio post-ADE 2022, where three tracks in all were first conceived. Two of which, ‘Hang Tight’ and ‘Heavenly Voices’, feature on this EP.

The tracks were road tested and tweaked extensively in early 2023 until they found their way to two of the labels greatest supporters, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, who both gave them amazing support throughout the European summer season and we were absolutely delighted when Hernan then also agreed to remix Hang Tight, alongside his longtime production partners and friends, Soundexile, to complete the EP. The result is absolutely stunning! It’s out next Friday, December 8th, and is already available to pre-order on Beatport.

Previews and videos coming soon too, but for now, we’ll leave it at that and just say a huge thanks to you all for the amazing support.

Our 7th release welcomes the very talented Hyunji-A to the stable. A regular at the hallowed STEREO MONTREAL and a production powerhouse. We are delighted to be able to showcase her talents with these two beautiful originals. Both have had major support from Hernan Cattaneo also. Both on his Resident show and in his live sets. And our own Gustin has been hammering them constantly these past months also. Available now on BP, BC and streaming platforms 🎶🙌🎶

Very excited to announce our first Intu Music showcase event, which, very fittingly, given that the label was launched at ADE last year, will take place in Amsterdam during ADE on Wednesday October 18th from 6pm - 1am at Kandinsky Cafe in the city centre. Delighted to have Elliot Moriarty, who was the first artist to release with us, Hyunji-A, who we have recently signed an amazing EP from, (which will be coming out soon), and of course Gustin, our label founder and curator, providing the soundtrack, and huge thanks to the Kandinsky Sessions team for all their hard work and dedication getting this series of events (see second slide) arranged and connected with the official ADE event program 🙌🎶🙌

This one is the title track on our next release which drops on Friday and is already available to pre-order. “The second release from Gustin’s new Intu Music imprint comes courtesy of the Austin based Estonian, Kaspar Tasane, with three scorching originals in the form of Heavens Above, Waking Dream and Verity.

Kaspar first came on to Gustin’s radar in early 2019 and soon after featured on his ‘Synchronicity’ compilation on onedotsixtwo with his track ‘Cloud Atlas’, followed by the release of his own full Supernoova EP on the label in July 2000. Since then Kaspar has gone on to release on many labels and receive support from across the progressive community, including of course Gustin who, upon forming Intu Music, immediately approached Kaspar, and soon after, Heavens Above, Waking Dream and Verity were born.

The title track ‘Heavens Above’ is a beautiful deep roller with an understated yet powerful groove and a breakdown full of tension and anticipation that gives way to a deep rolling bassline, sensuous guitar licks and ethereal vocal sweeps. ‘Waking Dream’ is next up with a no nonsense groove peppered with lively percussion and vocal pads building towards an epic break where the vocal chant takes centre stage alongside an acidic synth and lush keys which crescendo together beautifully. ‘Verity finishes off the EP on a fun and groovy note with a syncopated conga led rhythm, rounded bass, and a cheeky topline.

With early support from Nick Warren, who played Heavens Above on the The Soundgarden ADE 2022 boat party, Hernan Cattaneo who is supporting all three tracks, and of course Gustin who has been championing them in his sets all year, the Heavens Above EP looks set to take the progressive world by storm.”
