Food and drink. It’s essential, but it doesn’t have to be boring!
While recapping MIK Season 1, we felt inspired by and to share personal experiences enjoying Scottish delicacies… so here we go 🙌🏻
Slide 1: (pictured left to right) You can’t visit Scotland and not try a fried Mars bar with vanilla ice cream 😋. A nod to Celtics fans ⚽️ and Scotland’s beer: Tennents. Anyone interested in buying a 50 year Glengoyne 💸, yeah, me too. Then there’s coffee. Last pictured is an insanely yummy dish from Brea located on Baker Street in Stirling.
Slide 2: If you visit Glasgow, go 👏🏻 to 👏🏻 Tantrum Doughnuts. All of their doughnuts are made from scratch. It’s a must. It’s a requirement! With three locations in Glasgow, no excuses.
Slide 3: Gaucho, located near central station in Glasgow, is highly renowned for their steak cuts and Argentinian flare. I may or may not have licked the truffle butter ramekin clean.
Slide 4: The Scotch Malt Whisky Society is another must while in Edinburgh or Glasgow (pictured is Edinburgh location). Sip on an array of amazing whisky (pictured here: 30 year whiskies) and spoil yourself with their yummy finger foods! Be sure to check out their club info on their IG page or website 🙌🏻
Slide 5: Then there’s Megan’s favorite (like we don’t already know this): Glengoyne distillery! Need we say anymore about this place? It’s like heaven on earth, not to mention the views are 😍😍😍
Be sure to let us know what your favorite whiskies and Scottish foods are!!
