As of 19.29 today, a legend retired from international cricket.
The hero of ICC T20 2007 and ICC ONE DAY WORLD CUP 2011.
We cannot talk about India and not mention Mahindra Singh Dhoni. A hero, a leader who believed in moving forward with the team,someone who has always been bigger than the person we thought him to be, and above all an amazing human being.
He didn't just play, he won. Both matches and our hearts. He taught us how teamwork can take us a long way.
Our childhood hero has left International Cricket. The person who injected belief in the hearts of 130 crore people and sparked the deafening sound of celebration and joy every time he walked onto the field has left silently. His game spoke volumes more than his words.
We understood cricket because of this man.
The most selfless sportsman in the history of cricket. The 'CAPTAIN COOL'.
That feeling "Mahi hain, sambhal lega" will now simply remain a wiff of nostalgia.
"Started his career with a run out and finished it with a run out" , legendary Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who came round the full circle.
HE WILL ALWAYS BE OUR CAPTAIN. The one who took indian cricket to the fame and height that it has achieved today.
What an extraordinary and amazing career he has had, given us all a lifetime of memories to cherish.

A moment comes, which comes but rarely in history, when we step out from the old to the new...".. when after emerging from a collective setback, we will rise back together- a little kinder, a little more helpful- with humanity in our minds, and fraternity in our hearts.
So, this Independence Day, let us free ourselves from the materialism that fogs our rationalism, and try to gleam with a hope- of a brighter future, a collective triumph for all the countrypersons.
Let us join hands- let our solidarity glue it and ambition fuel it.

Fights and squabbles, frustrations and quarrels,
Can’t live with you, can’t live without you...
Does mum love you more? Does dad buy me more gifts?
We’ll never know...
But I do know this.
Whatever road I choose to take in life, you’ll be there with me.
You’ll remove anything on that road that makes me falter.

Wildernesses touches one's heart, mind and soul in a way known only to oneself.
The lush forests, tender grass and the teasing sunlight peeping through the dense canopy is so therapeutic that everyone deserves an escape from the hustle-bustle of the city life, once a while.
While amidst the nature, when subtle coos of birds linger in the ears, and realization of how beautiful the vision of The Creator is strikes, one can't help but value all of his other masterpieces - including oneself.

Being residents of Chennai, our weekends were always filled with fun get-away options. One of the hotspots of weekend attraction was the small, coy Pondicherry. That sense of freedom, the cool sea breeze in your hair, the vivacious nightlife and best of all? The dazzling and mouth watering food as you sit around with your friends and talk your life away.
Too soon would those moments end leaving you pining for just another taste....
