The Onion River Review encourages submission of photography, painting, and other media for publication. Other media may be submitted at Saint Edmund's Hall, Room 329, or it may be mailed to the following address:

The Onion River Review accepts submission of poetry, prose, scripts, and other literary forms. To submit your work, email [email protected] with your work in the body of the email, or with a Word file attached. If you are unable to submit your work through email, you may submit through the process outlined above. The Onion River Review enthusiastically accepts mixed-media work such as calligraphy that do not fit into the categories above. The Onion River Review is first and foremost an artistic outlet for the greater Saint Michael's community. We accept submissions from students, faculty, staff, alumni, and our neighbors in the Burlington area. Editorial Process:

Each submission is read anonymously. Each editor reads every submission, thus each submission is guaranteed to be read more than once. Contributors may submit with the confidence that their work will be given all due consideration.

Beloved auxes (and anyone interested)-- an email will be going out tomorrow to recruit new potential core editors. If you're interested, we'll be setting up interviews for Friday afternoon, and can accommodate other times if this day does not work for you. Keep an eye out on your email and let either Will or one of the current Core editors (Cory, Cody, Lily, Briana, or Victoria) know if you're interested and we'll pencil you in!

This here is an uber-literary week at SMC because not only is there going to be an open reading this Thursday at 7:00 PM, but in honor of MLK week some of our pals are putting on the 3rd Annual Spoken Word Competition this Friday! Vela Magazine, an online journal that publishes works of nonfiction written by women and inspired by travel, has launched its inaugural nonfiction contest for women. The winner will receive $500 and publication. The deadline is March 31; there is no entry fee.
