God gives us wisdom through His word, the Holy Ghost, and via our pastors and teachers. Sometimes we get so comfortable in what we already know that we disregard or even misunderstand insights and teaching that’s familiar. Instead of seeking more on what you already know you just ignore and end up moving backwards in your understanding. That’s when you start being “head-led” instead of spirit led. We must always be careful of our own thinking and behavior when it comes to what we post, comment on, or say out loud otherwise foolishness will come out instead of wisdom.

As a content creator sometimes I get more criticism than I want and 99% of it isn’t helpful or valuable. It all depends on the source.

If you don’t have a mentor, a Pastor, or someone you value giving you feedback then you’re limiting what you can actually accomplish with your platform. I welcome comments, helpful or not, and I’ve learned to filter out the noise and respond to the right kinds of criticism.

God places people in our lives for specific purposes but it’s our duty recognize those people and be ready to receive from them. Otherwise we might find ourselves in a fast decline.

Often times I find myself trying to hurry and get things done. Things that if I just take time to plan would go far more smoothly than without a plan.
God rewards diligence. Diligence always has a plan. Do you spend time in the word daily? Praying? Seeking what God has for you? What’s keeping you from doing so? Odds are it’s just planning or rather a failure to plan that’s keeping you from where you want to go.

There is no “done” when it comes to knowledge. There is always something to learn, a perspective to understand, or a process that can be refined. God created us with the ability to learn and understand. We all have things we need to learn that will lead into His calling on our lives but you have to stay ready to learn!

Starting my day by feeding on the word.

I had a manager once tell me that the day you stop learning is the day you start dying. Maybe that’s a little extreme but there’s some truth there. Proverbs 29 says without vision people perish. If you aren’t trying to learn something what vision do you have? Certainly I haven’t figured it all out myself, so there’s always something new to learn and apply into my life.

So instead of not having any focus or vision, I choose to seek Him, seek knowledge, and seek truth. From there I will learn and grow into who God calls me to be.

Shortcuts and schemes aren’t going to work out. Success isn’t random chance or accidental it’s the result of hard work. Good work. Smart work. When you have a purpose you have to pursue it. Waiting to get started only puts you behind your purpose and life will pass you up.
