Afternoon tea at The Rubens at The Palace in London From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with the warmest and most friendly service, from the doorman to the GM and especially Paulina, who oversaw everything and took care of my reservation and requests.
The atmosphere at The Rubens is truly enchanting. With its beautiful red and gold decor and elegant furnishings, it was the perfect setting for an afternoon tea. And let’s not forget about the delicious treats – the pastries were a feast for the eyes and mouth, and the selection of teas was perfect.
One of the highlights of my experience was definitely the mulled wine. It was warm, comforting, and the perfect cheer to start my afternoon.
From the moment you sit down at your table and the hostess comes to ask how you would like your tea, the service is impeccable. You can choose from a variety of finger sandwiches, scones, pastries, and cakes, all perfectly balanced and seasoned. And let’s not forget about the delicate teacups and saucers – everything is just so polished and refined.
My experience at The Rubens was truly unforgettable. From the warm and friendly service to the exquisite treats and the perfectly balanced tea, it was the perfect way to spend a sunny afternoon in London.
