There’s a lot to unpack here so I urge you to read this article.. In a weird an unforeseen plot twist, the King County Detective who was placed on administrative leave last week is Governor Jay Inslee’s cousin. This is the same Detective that was put on leave for joking about “All Lives Splatter” on social media just hours after two protesters were struck by a car which resulted in the death of Seattle’s beloved Summer Taylor.

The father of 24-year-old Summer Taylor, the protester who was killed on I-5 early Saturday morning, called for King County detective Mike Brown to be fired immediately for Facebook posts that seemed to make light of the fatal crash.

We can’t confirm if these people were randomly arrested or not. However, after watching the video numerous times, the body language of the crowd doesn’t persuade me into thinking that protesters initiated violence with police just moments before this video starts.

Definitely worth the read and your time. I was made aware of Evans arrest a day after it happened. This definitely made me very cautious moving forward at the time as I knew, by reporting the people’s truth, I could be subjecting myself to an arrest with false pretenses.

Evan Hreha of Seattle recorded a video of a young child reportedly pepper sprayed by police during a protest. A week later, he was arrested on suspicion of unlawfully discharging a laser. He denies those allegations and maintains he was wrongfully arrested.

SHARE THIS, BE APART OF CHANGE TODAY! — If you live in Seattle and you know of any black owned restaurants, please drop it in the comments! I would love learn about some new spots around the city to spend my money. I’m also interested in creating a segment to promote and do my part to support these restaurants. My goal with this piece is to promote these businesses and create a larger awareness of them in our community!

Note: I could obviously do a simple Google search to find out this information. However, I want to get you, the viewer, involved in sharing and supporting black owned businesses! If there’s enough locals that share this information here, this post alone can serve as a great avenue of getting the names of those businesses out to the public.

You CAN be apart of change and here’s something you CAN do right now! Lets see those business names dropped in the comments 👏🏽👏🏾👏🏿

Personal Favorite: JuneBaby of Seattle, WA
