Are you a parent that enjoys hunting?

If you are, it may be wise to think about the environment in which your kid(s) grow up in especially if your with a significant other.

Environment meaning, specifically ask yourself if you are displaying love and kindness to your significant other.

If you are, you’re on the right path. If you are not and you find yourself succumbing to let’s say arguing or negativity, I think it’s time to rethink things.

Here’s why this is relevant for parents that hunt. Inter parental conflict can lead to your kid(s) internalizing and expanding upon imbalances such as anxiety and depression as well as immune system suppression.

That means that your behavior towards your significant other can literally alter the health of your offspring. It’s weird to think about it, but in a way, their cells are always listening to their environment which means they will either thrive or their brain and body will become impaired in various ways according to the energy and environment they are around.

But, by providing a positive environment with your significant other in the form of kindness, humility, and love in front of your kid(s) they will have more internal ease and have better mental, physical, and spiritual health.

Sounds good, right?

A better quality relationship and environment is a blessing for the next generation.

If you want to hunt deer more throughout your life, it might be wise to consider drinking less soda. 🦌🦌🦌

Adults who drank 12 oz of soda daily biologically aged 4.6 years faster compared to people the same chronological age.

Your biological age is the age of your tissues/cells and how they function. This is different than your chronological age (your age number that increases each year by 1).

This is why you may see a person who looks/feels younger than their actual age (chronological) or older than their actual age (chronological). The more you take care of the body that houses your soul, the younger your biological age will be.

For example: I may have a chronological age of 32, but my biological age and how I feel on a daily basis is 24 because of the proper lifestyle choices I make on a daily basis (consistently).

It’s not that you have to completely avoid soda for the rest of your life. It comes down to moderation. Ultimately, by decreasing your soda consumption, you may be able to experience more opening days due to having better overall health.

Elk hunting, body fat around the waist, and brain shrinkage?

Recent literature suggests that individuals with high body fat around the waist may be associated with shrinkage of the brain.

Shrinkage of the brain may lead to impairment in learning, memory, deductive reasoning, logic etc. All of which could contribute to health limitations such as Dementia that may prevent you from chasing those elk.

So, to prevent possible brain shrinkage, here are some strategies for elk hunters to incorporate and decrease that stubborn belly fat.

-Aim for 7-9 hours of quality sleep.

-16:8 method (eat all meals within 8 hours and fast for the rest).

-Consume 1 gram of protein (meat/fish) per pound of bodyweight per day. Example: If you want to weigh 225 and be relatively lean, consume roughly 225 grams of protein per day.

-Avoid vegetable/seed oils, refined grains, soy, and refined sugar.

-Drink half your bodyweight in ounces of water each day (add a pinch of unrefined sea salt for electrolytes to your water bottle).

-No snacking.

-Exercise everyday (literally every single day).

-Immerse yourself in cold conditions (take cold showers, cold immersion in tub, go outside more etc.).

-Immerse yourself in warm conditions (sauna or exercise with sweatpants, beanie, and sweatshirt).

Etc.

If you enjoy elk hunting and you are looking to minimize that stubborn belly fat that could possibly lead to shrinkage of the brain, consider experimenting with these strategies for at least 60 days. Being consistent pays off if you are willing to work hard.

I didn’t fully welcome this concept into my life till three years ago so I am a little behind.📈

But I can say this with the utmost certainty that the_________ can help you completely change every single facet of life that you want.

your fear of failure———changed

your self-control———changed

your ability to handle adversity——changed

your happiness———changed

your confidence———changed

your drive————changed

There are going to be a lot of things that get in the way of what you want to achieve. The____________can help you stay the course towards no goals no matter the obstacle. Remember todays lesson like your favorite hunting spot📚

Training (aka planned exercise for a specific reason) in this context refers to completing movements that help you break a sweat and elevate your heart rate towards long term goals. It can be anything.

pushups

bailing hail

hauling firewood

using conditioning machines

anything.

In my book I dive more extensively into how you can become consistent with training for your entire life no matter your current position, schedule, and goals. You will see how I have been able to train every single day for the last 3 years and 8 months. It’s automatic like brushing my teeth. It’s a given. I train:

before work

on vacations

in parking lots

before I give a speech

anywhere every single day.

For now, when you see the words “never take a day off” just remember that you don’t need to crush yourself everyday with hours and hours of training. Depending on your specific schedule, some days you could train for 10 min, 1 min, while others for 1 hour. It’s about being consistent, not the amount of time spent.

Everyone has the capability to make time in their schedule to train. And once you modify your schedule to fit in training on a consistent basis, everything in life starts changing for the better. Being consistent is how you experience all of the results you want for decades and decades.

The one drawback to training on a consistent basis, which I should mention, is that it will improve your physical and mental health, which will lead to experiencing more opening days and hunting opportunities. Be careful as you may start to feel like a super hunter.

Here is our lessen today class 📚

In the grand scheme of things, the two suggestions I offer can be applied to any scenario or incident in life. These strategies have helped me become more proficient at dealing with difficulties without succumbing to pessimism, negativity, or the complaining virus.

From my experience, you begin to feel a sense of empowerment, control, and internal ease when you are able to rewire your brain using a variety of approaches to deal with challenges more efficiently.

Ahhh. Those are feelings that are favorable. Try my suggestions to feel those as well.

We are given just one life, my friends. Make the most of it🏹🏹🏹

Since 2018 I have been packing this food-related item for all of my hunts.🎒

I consume it everyday. I keep it in my pack, my truck center console, on my office desk, in the kitchen, in my bow case, backyard, on the roof when watching the stars, in my bathroom and shower, in my garage gym, in my back pocket when I give speeches and change diapers, and so on. I keep it everywhere.

It can help all three muscles types contract and relax efficiently (smooth, cardiac, and skeletal),

help you shoot arrows like Robin Hood,

help your brain operate at a high level (logic, deductive reasoning, learning abilities, etc.),

help you hike any amount of miles,

improve your sleep,

keep hormones balanced,

maintain blood pressure,

boost immune function,

and pretty much should be considered illegal considering how awesome you feel when you start consuming it regularly.

Here is our lessen today class📚

I get asked a lot about my thoughts on protein sources so I decided to share a few things.

It’s your choice what you consume. Having a treat every once in a while is perfectly fine and realistic. When you ingest something on a regular basis that may not be ideal for our physical and mental health, is when things can catch up to us when we least expect it. Focus more on the prevention side of health instead of waiting till something bad happens to make a change. Sometimes you don’t get a second chance.

All in all, this is merely a digital post containing thoughts made by one human being in a giant universe.
