and says
Take a look at this ...she is I and I am she. She is a lot of us actually. Through all of her hurt, pain, rejection, alienation, disregard, being over looked, regardless of what you do or have, made to feel less, not belonging and even being cheated out of what was rightfully hers, she still stood in the gap for many.
Let's be absolutely clear, none of the newly elected candidates would have won with out her influence. Not Warnock, Osff, or even Biden or Harris. While being mocked by 45 and others, she just kept working. Working for the betterment of others. Working to keep the America that has never shown her or anyone that looks like her love or appreciation, a better democracy for everyone, even if they don't look like her.
We watched the establishment, ones with so much work tirelessly to strip all safe guards, all rights, and opportunities from those who have so little. Some of us, the safe guards, rights, and potential opportunities is all we had.
We watch charlatans brain wash the poorest of the poor into believing their circumstances would improve by voting against their own interests. This has never worked and it never will.
This current administration and the recent election has opened our eyes to so much. If we didn't see before, we now can't UNSEE the disdainful tactics utilized to create an even larger racial, wealth, and principle divide.
We saw a plethora of people standing behind one person who is willing to burn 🔥 the entire country down, just to remain in power. These followers were so blind that they didn't realize that he would be burning down their homes too.
As all of this happened, she, the Black Woman, nursed the dying country from her own breast, as she has always done. She has always lead the way. She has always shared her water. She has always pushed others ahead, while others continue to pass her by. She has forever been the one to breathe life into those dying around her.
Black women have been saving kingdoms, monarchs, countries, other people, and never received a word of thanks. Today, I publicly Thank this Black woman, and urge all Black women to stand up because after a life time of saving everyone else...it's time we save ourselves! It is also time for others to stand up for us, the way we have stood up for everyone else!
