Saw Martha Wainwright at probably the best venue for live music in Melbourne, the Recital Centre, and she did not disappoint. Played to a sell out audience telling amusing anecdotes, tinkling on the piano, singing acapella and reading some bits from her memoir. She also played the guitar and made the auidence welcome to her world for just under 2 hours.

The expected happened unexpectedly. I thought the Rat, Putin, would have murdered Alexei Navalny much sooner than he did.
What a weak thing Putin is. Can't tolerate someone having an opposing view.

He either pushes people off balconies, off a roof or jails them for demonstrating and they su***de or get released as a shadow of themselves.

Alexei Navalny I salute you but you should have listened to your advisers after Rat Putin poisoned you, and not returned to Russia. You were a walking death sentence from the moment the plane took off for your homeland.

He showed a lot of courage and paid the ultimate price while some smug bastard continues to smile in his shadow. Hopefully one day there will be justice rather than justarse in this world we live in.
