I’ve decided that I’m going to live in blue eyeshadow from now on 🥺💙

I know the news today may have deflated everyone a bit, especially those like me who struggle with mental health & need a routine. It’s going to be tough for a lot of us, but we can and will get through it. I’m going to keep this to a minimal because I know this is all that’s talked about at the moment (trust me I know - I work in digital marketing and have been trying to help clients with it all week), but I’m keeping an open and positive mind. And so, another week has ended and I couldn’t be happier. I touched on this in yesterday’s post, but I started this week off being overwhelmed by depression & anxiety and I’m finishing it going out for a meal (cheap because I’m skint!) to celebrate my achievements.
💸 A pay-rise at work
💅🏻 An email back from a PR company regarding my media kit that I worked hard to send out to brands last week (I’m proud to be putting myself & my content out there more!)
🎓 And the equivalent of a 2:1 for my third assignment of the year at university (68 out of 100) oh, and did I mention I do all this while working full time? I’m proud to be girl-bossing life, as well as running a home & concentrating on my studies AND hobbies 🤯

So today is a pretty exciting day in the world of me and my life. I’ve had a tough few days. I’ve felt anxious. Not good enough. Just sad. Today I had my 6 month review meeting at work (to see how I’ve progressed) and I only went and got a pay rise!! 🤯🤩

There’s always light at the end of the tunnel. Your mind may tell you one thing, but everyone else may have a different, positive perception of you. I’m SO proud of myself. I’m doing what I love the most, and I’m not that bad at it either clearly!! Counting my blessings. Trying to breathe & regroup. Life is good. 💘
