Happy (isolated) Halloween everyone! It seems in 2020, with all of reality dropped out from under, leaving us suspended in anxiety and terror, EVERY day is some kind of Halloween, but now seems the best opportunity to crank the dial to 11! Philip Hardy’s UK short ‘Bathroom Mirrors,’ in which an acid-attack survivor and former model does battle with a horror movie cliché, is a *shining* example of some of the terrors Film Maudit 2.0 will bring you January 12-24, 2021. Expect plenty of horrors, but none of them quite as you imagined (or want to imagine)...kinda like 2020.
