After studying art history in Brussels and Strasbourg, Kevin Muhlen (*1977) joined Casino Luxembourg in 2004. His career path has gradually led him to curating exhibitions. After initiating several exhibitions and art projects at the Casino and as a guest curator abroad he was appointed artistic director of the Casino Luxembourg in 2009.
In this position Kevin Muhlen started the artist residency program and focuses his programming on monographic exhibitions of international artists.
In 2016 he became general director of Casino Luxembourg and continued to develop the institution, its program, and its international network.
At the same time, he contributes as an author to various artists' catalogues and publications. He is also president of the public commissions committee in Luxembourg.

Suite à des études en histoire de l’art à Bruxelles et Strasbourg, Kevin Muhlen (*1977) à rejoint le Casino Luxembourg en 2004. Son parcours l’a progressivement mené vers le commissariat d’exposition. Après avoir initié plusieurs expositions et projets artistiques au Casino et en tant que commissaire invité à l’étranger il a été nommé directeur artistique du Casino Luxembourg en 2009.
Dans cette position Kevin Muhlen a démarré le programme de résidences d'artistes et concentre sa programmation autour d’expositions monographiques d'artistes internationaux.
En 2016 il devient directeur général du Casino Luxembourg et poursuit le développement de l’institution, de son programme et de son réseau international.
Parallèlement il contribue en tant qu’auteur à divers catalogues d’artistes et publications. Il est également président de la commission de l'aménagement artistique au Luxembourg.

For the launch book, we organised a screening. This was an excellent opportunity to show the full range of images submitted by the selected artists, especially those not included in the book.
